What a lovely setting overlooking the Harhour in Howth. Went here on a Thursday evening to the Restaurant there was plenty of room and service was excellent, If your a Fish Lover theres loads to choose but even if your not you wont be disappointed. The Monkfish which came recommended was absolutely superb and its definitely a place I will come back to.

Was very disappointed, the view was lovely as we sat outside, but the food was of very small portions, it was good quality fish but overpriced for the size and very bland, there was no flavour or love that went into it. The chips were the dregs from the bottom of the basket, overcooked, hard and crunchy and inedible. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, I'd go back for the view sitting outside and to order a glass of wine, but not for food.

I had been recommended to try KS. I am a lover of seafood and was excited. I brought two guests with myself and my wife. I was disappointed with the menu size and options. No meat except game. portions were very small and supplements on most everything. My fish was more akin to frozen fish. I did nmot complain because of my guests, however it is very unlikely that I will be back

The restaurant has a nice view over the pier. It wasn't full on a Saturday evening, but the cafe bar downstairs was heaving. The staff were friendly. My husband enjoyed his Dublin Bay prawns, which is quite hard to find in Dublin. The scallops were nice, but not a patch on the ones we had recently in Scotland. The mixed fish specialty was a bit disappointing as it was barely served warm. My husband had another starter for his main course otherwise I would have returned it. Next time we would try the cafe bar.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Great views overlooking the pier and bay. A lot of fish on the menu so not a great choice for non fish lovers. But food is excellent for taste and presentation. Will visit again.

I haven't been here in a very long time and despite increasing good local competition the Kink Sitric still retains it's fine dining charm and service. Food was top notch. The tempura prawns were light and had great flavour and the sole perfectly cooked. All together a good experience and affordable.

Have long wanted to try out this well known Howth eaterie. Took the DART out on a lazy Sunday afternoon and enjoyed some excellent fish and seafood with a good hoppy ale. Lots of good wine choices by the glass - very kid friendly and the tables outside must be hopping on a nice summers day. Will definitely go back

My Mum and I had a wonderful experience this evening and will definitely return. The service was friendly, attentive, helpful yet not intrusive. The food was truly delicious from the berry and lemon smoothie, seared scallops with sausage and red onion marmalade, fillet of cod and ratatouille and finished with a warm brownie and raspberry ice cream. The wine, a Sauvignon Blanc Paul Mas was a perfect accompaniment on a warm summer's evening.

We wanted to use this restaurant as a treat but it turned out to be a disaster mainly due to the appalling service. It started quite bad with no drinks or menus. Water showed up 20 minutes after two reminders. The starters were lovely but the waiter made a mistake with the main I ordered. Instead of apologies I was told by one of them that it will be replaced in no time but I should try what I got anyway (plaice instead of lamb). I requested the lamb but another waiter came to tell me that it will take a long time to get it and that I should order something else. The menu is quite limited anyway, so it was quite a disappointment. The staff don't seem to know how to serve tables and struggle to communicate in courteous manner. Will not be back!!!!

sitric is king – if you like your fish then you've come to the right pier review...if you know what i mean. fab cafe bar options available; but if you want 'aromantic' meal for two here is the full on restaurant experience. we had the chowder and the oysters with a bottle of wine – and stayed on for coffee and desserts. thanks for the wonderful evening
