At Kennedy’s they aim to provide the very best home cooked food at good value! They recently closed their Bistro but they still have excellent coffees/teas, breakfast & lunches.

What a great find! Delicious food, prepared on site. Love the chicken sandwich on granary bread. It has become a new regular haunt for us. Place is small but has a great buzz. Service very prompt and food always so fresh.

AMAZING. Words can't express how beautiful this little gem is. Freshly brewed coffee and home made salads sandwiches and cakes.

I enjoyed my lamb. Generally good value for lunch. A gem in fairview. Great for brunch and beautiful rustic decor.

A large group of us had lunch here in October 2014. With 4 vegans in the group you can imagine how delighted we were to have our food served by a very pleasant and helpful vegan, we knew there would be no errors made! However on December 24th our family of 4 visited and things were very different. Unfortunately they were only serving breakfasts. My daughter and I (both vegan) had therefore limited options. We had beans tomato and mushrooms. The food was cold and had to be sent back, ergo we ate alone as my son and husband had finished their food. To add insult to injury, we were charged €6.95 for a spoonful of beans, one tomato and two mushrooms.... Suffice to say despite the positivity of my visit in October I'm not sure we would be venturing back again anytime soon :( Overall very disappointing

I went here for tapas. Unfortunately it was quiet which is a shame as the food was good but the atmosphere was lessened. The tapas is great value and the portions are sizeable. I've been here for lunch and they do the most fabulous homemade sausage rolls. The service was impeccable and the staff very attentive. A gem for breakfast in fair view.

I was with a group of friends & we had a lovely lunch here. I had never been before but one of our group recommended it, we were all delighted with the fab food & friendly service. It was very busy, so the service was a little slow but everything else was perfect!

The small plates were delicious as they were a previous time I was there. I had falafel and vegetable chili and my girlfriend had chicken and chorizo stew and bruschetta. There was hardly anyone there though which is a shame as the food is lovely.

Food rationing was on the small side. The food was beautiful. Would highly recommend the hake dish, it was very fresh and beautifully cooked. The service was excellent! Servers were very polite and accommodating.

I have been having breakfast in Kennedys regularly and it is excellent. Food is good and staff are friendly and very professional. Then I had the experience of dinner in the upstairs bistro. Great food and great value. An earlier review referred to cramped conditions - I didn't find it cramped although space is limited but it adds to the atmosphere. Personally, I am amazed with what they manage to produce from, what must be, a small kitchen. I would recommend the bistro and also breakfast at weekends .

On the recommendation of a friend we had dinner at Kennedy’s Bistro during a recent trip to Dublin. The ambience and decor in the upstairs bistro came as a very pleasant surprise, being contemporary in design and with a feeling of spaciousness despite its relatively small size. For starters my husband had the oven roasted Portobello mushroom and I had the Crab & Spring Onion Croquette. Both starters were full of flavour and very well presented. For our main course we had the Barbery Duck and the Baked Fillet of Hake – again the food was of excellent quality and very well presented. Our waitress gave us friendly and attentive service throughout our meal at Kennedy’s. Although this restaurant is a little way out of Dublin city centre, I found the quality of the food superior to a lot of the city centre restaurants we have previously visited, the service excellent and all in all good value for money.

First and last visit here because this is the most uncomfortable restaurant I've been to in a long time. The seating area is cramped, the tables are too small for comfort, and your neighbours are too close. Worst of all is the draught from the air conditioning. After only one hour in the place, I had the makings of a head cold. For the record, the food is not bad; my baked cod was very good.

Ate with a friend. Service was pleasant and professional throughout. I had a soup starter, a sheperds pie main and finished with a cheesecake desert. I enjoyed every course. My companion had a duck main which she enjoyed. The atmosphere was good however I think they should change their background music. I do realise that this is a personal choice issue. Overall a most enjoyable dining experience however one small thing that annoyed me was that my main arrived stone cold. Despite the gripe I would both recommend and return here.
