First and last time ordering from here. I'm on a Paleo Diet so was really excited to find a restaurant that caters for us few. Lots of "PF" Paleo friendly options on the menu, I kept it simple. Small plates of Chicken Tikka "kebab", Bombay Ribs and a cucumber salad. Took 50 minutes to whip up this small order on a Wednesday night, not great. Tikka was a few small, very dry pieces of chicken loosely sitting at the bottom of a tray with a few red onions, crap. Ribs were ok, mild sauce blew the head off me as it was full of chilli seeds, i like it hot but this was too hot for mild sauce. Salad was completely overpowered by the coriander, when will places learn that this needs to be used in moderation to the other ingredients. I also received a portion of rice, which I did not order and is a bit of a joke when your on Paleo and this is a PF restaurant. POOR!

Made an order for delivery. Food arrived over 30 minutes late and was cold. No apology on phone or at the door and the delivery driver also purposely shortchanged me after I was unable to find correct change for him. The food itself is usually quite nice but I have had a number of bad experiences regarding their service before this. Won't be ordering again.

I have been a regular customer in the past. However, after my last 2 experiences I will not be a customer again. The last time a main course was missing from my order and the time before that half the order was not delivered and it was 2 hours before we had the complete order with half of it spoiled. This is bad enough but what really is infuriating is the attitude of the staff to this poor service. No apologies, at the door when the missing main course arrived, the guy said my manager said to make sure you paid for that and when they had left I noticed they had made a second delivery charge for their screw up! When I complained to the girl on the phone I was told I did not take your order someone else did! A lesson in customer service is badly needed. By the time you get your food from this place you would have cooked it yourself. Give it a miss.

Pre ordered by phone. The girl who served me was pleasant. We both enjoyed our food. We shared starter of a tiffin box. I had a beef dish whilst my friend had a vegetarian one. Overall enjoyable Indian take away eaten in the comfort of ones home. I would both return and recommend this eatery.

Ordered a takeaway - so for the record I marked Atmos and Service 4 though don't really figure in a takeaway. Not sure how other people are marking it for their takeaways. Have had Bombay Pantry in Rathmines too, and to be honest I don't know how they are getting away with 100gram portions of meat. Food was grand, nothing amazing, (Bombay Chicken) but wasn't full after. Cost them about €2 to make, spices and sauce + small chicken breast + cup of rice; sauce tastes good, chicken fine, but won't be making a habit of going here. 1 for Value and 3 for food.

Had ordered from here before so knew the quality was good. Had never collected food from it but was using a voucher. Food was excellent including the children's meals. Definitely will return and not just with a deal!

Again lovely food from Bombay Pantry, My second time to have ordered from here. Got the value meal for two at 19.00 We had the buttered chichen and the Jalphrazee Both excellent - very large portion sizes (1 is enough between two if you are not a big eater) Nice Nice and lovely Nan. Only complaint would be the starter the which wasnt that appealling tasted pretty bland and soggy and as its a take away i think they should offer a chicken starter or other meat starter in the meal deal as batters and vegs dont hold well when wrapped up in a bag. But the starter was only an extra and didnt take away from the beautiful main meal which I would highly highly highly reccomend to anyone in Fairview area. will deffo be ordering again (minus the starter)

As far as the food goes, this place is sublime. The best Indian takeaway food in Dublin (alongside the other sister restaurants in the chain) by a considerable distance, All the lamb dishes are excellent with the Shashlik being a standout option in my opinion. It is just fantastic for takeaway fare. The chicken dishes also use quality meat rather than "rubber style" chicken which is the unfortunate norm for other similar establishments. However, there are several annoying and very disappointing flaws. Firstly, the food is always freezing when it's delivered even though I live a mile away. Secondly, the level of meanness is bordering on scandalous The value meal is for chicken and vegetarian options only and does offer value to be fair. But if you want lamb or beef it is a whole different ball game. Main courses are not cheap. Rice is extra, dips are extra, appetizers are small and the most annoying of all, poppadoms are 2 euros extra. If you get them with a dip like Tamarind, Mint etc. its 3.50 for something that's free everywhere else. A takeaway meal consisting of two meals with rice for both and poppadoms with a dip is roughly 30 euros with no appetizers or naan bread. You can eat in several good restaurants in Dublin for a similar price nowadays and experience equivalent levels of quality. Great food. Ridiculously mean. It was also a point raised among friends recently who regularly spend considerable money on meals. Everybody agreed that it was the silly manner in which the Bombay Pantry tried to take every miserable cent from your pocket for a takeaway which vexed them. Nearly everyone had a positive opinion about the food. Lesson to be learned. Everyone can't be wrong. Closing at 10 is too early for a takeaway also.

Got take out from here on the way home and I was very pleasantly surprised by the food and price of the meal. Although not the best Indian food I have ever had, it ranks pretty high up on my scale and when you combine that with the price, you are onto a winner, meal for two cost 15 euro, which included one starter, both courses were very tasty and the naan was very tasty. will definitely be getting food from here again

As usual lovely food from Bombay, both mains were lovely the buttered chichen and the chicken with the chutney. With lovely tasty rice and naam bread was a perfect meal and well worth every cent. Only slight complaint would be the starter the Tiffin Box for Two which wasnt that appealling and slightly cold. But I think once I stick to the mains Bombay Pantry is the best around.
