Meal was fantastic.I had Pork Belly with black pudding and my wife had the chicken liver parfait as starters.. both were perfect. I had the short rib and my wife had the chicken for main courses, As well as being cooked perfectly, the presentation and accompaniments were very innovative. Service was very good.. not overpowering ... and they served my coffee WITH the dessert as I had requested . Many other places get this worong

Went here for dinner on a Friday night. Little quiet at 7:30, so will probably go later next time to ensure a bit more atmosphere. Tables had filled up nicely when we were leaving. Get the chocolate mousse!! Amazing!! Will be back!

We had a very enjoyable dinner here on Friday night. Nice relaxed atmosphere and very attentive and friendly staff. The rhubarb dessert was one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. I'm looking forward to returning to try their breakfast/brunch and have already recommended to friends and family.

Went for our wedding anniversary, won't be back. Staff pleasant, service awful, food had to be returned to kitchen. Starters arrived promptly, then 30 minutes later main courses came. Ordered a Medium steak which came out rare and was sent back - I mean, seriously, a kitchen that can't cook steak correctly? By the time it came back out myself and wife ended up not eating at the same time. Dessert and coffee ordered - coffee arrived but no dessert. 20 minutes later after reminding staff - dessert arrived. The final bill was alright - and they comped our coffee for all of the problems - big deal. We left after a most disappointing evening and will take our business elsewhere. Plenty of choice around.

Myself and my husband arrived at The Pigeon House on one of those glorious days around lunchtime. We didn't have a reservation but the staff were more than accommodating. It didn't take long till we were seated and served a refreshing drink. We ordered from the brunch menu and found it to be very tasty and reasonable. The decor was contemporary and stylish and atmosphere was so chilled and relaxed. Looking forward to our next visit.

Went with my dad for an early dinner yesterday (Sunday). He has been a couple of times midweek and likes it and wanted me to try it out. I have positives and negatives. We were seated at the window but my view was of an emergency exit door, not ideal. The waiters were very attentive however there was quite a delay between ordering and serving each course. I was surprised we were not given bread to nibble on in the meantime. I had the fried egg and black pudding starter, it was very nice. Dad had the fish croquette which he enjoyed. Then I had the beef burger. I asked if it could be cooked medium and was pleased that it was just right however I thought the onion relish was overpowering and left most of that. Dad had a lovely dish of duck leg with sausage although we expected it to be a bit more of a stew type dish. So overall the food was very nice but a little expensive with 3 glasses of wine. We were offered the cheaper neighbourhood menu but the choice is very limited and nothing really appealed to us, so we had the dinner menu. I'm not sure it was value for money all round.

Went for brunch and it was absolutely gorgeous. I had the ham and baked eggs - really tasty and filling. The toast and butter were delicious. I had a gorgeous mimosa with it. Would recommend!

nice place. enjoyed the salad I ordered. it really was delicious. not a huge lunch menu but I think there would be something for everyone. little disappointed with the mint tea being a teabag but that was only a minor blip. staff nice although evident they were not open long and just need to get into their groove. food was delicious and I would def return.

Service was fantastic. Really friendly and helful staff. the Brunch menu is small, but the food is so good. We sat on the outdoor terrace area which is sunny and well maintained, with blankets in case you are feeling the cold. can't think of a better place to sit, eat and read the papers!

Went here for the steak night deal. The place was busy, but had a nice buzz to it. Steak was good, fries delish, sauce was a bit thin, but aside from that very nice meal. Will be back!

We had visitors last weekend and brought them here to try it out, as we'd not been before. We were so glad we did! Delicious food (all 3 courses) and friendly and attentive service. Highlights were the goats cheese & pear starter (scrummy), the well presented pork belly main and the cauliflower risotto (my husband said he'd love to eat it all over again), plus all 3 desserts. Our only small quibble was the music, which was too loud in an already busy and chatty restaurant, but that is definitely a small issue. We had a look at the breakfast and bruncn menus, both of which look intersting. We'll definitely be back.

Went here for brunch and Sunday and was impressed by the menu, lots of interesting and well thought out choices. I went for the falafel and bulgar wheat which was really tasty. The service was a bit slow to begin with but then improved and the waitress was extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend this for a nice bite to eat

The place has recently (re)opened so we were curious and went for brunch. I didn't really like the outside, although a major improvement to the old dark painted front, but the inside was beautifully decorated. A very inviting place. Food was great. My wife had the hash brown which was fabulous. They put their own spin on the hash brown and reminded me more of roesti but was delicious. I already forgot the name of my dish, it was some oriental roasted pepper dish with a baked egg. I never had it before but It's easily one of my favourite breakfast dishes now. Overall we were truly amazed. Beautiful food with a menu that's different from the usual scrambled eggs, omelette and full Irish you get in most places. We can't wait to come back and see what they have for dinner.
