We have been thrown out of the pub because we hadnt decided our order yet and they suspected us for using their wifi and not going to order anything. They were really rude and very agressive altough we were friendly and even when we were going to order something they refused to believe it and kicked us out. nWe have never been treaded so horrible in Dublin before.

I went here for a quick bite to eat with my boyfriend and our 18 month old before he went to a football match with his brother. This is a real touristy place. There were a couple of locals. If I wasn't with my bf I don't think I would come in here tbh. We got a table and placed our order, 1 Chicken burger with whiskey mayo and 1 beef and Guinness pie. The burger was lovely but the pie was a bit of a let down. The crust was kind of stale tasting. The waitress was lovely and made sure the baby was looked after. She brought paper and crayons for her to scribble with and a plate of veg for her to eat. Over all it was good for what it was but I don't think I'll be back.

I have eaten in Madigans a few times now. Always get nice large portions and food is always perfecto.. I would recommend Madigans if you are hungry & looking for somewhere with a nice comfortable atmosphere. Staff are always friendly. They do a nice pint too :)

Went for lunch today and got the steak for 16 euro. Not bad to be honest. Expected worse mainly due to the badly light and pokey nature of the pub. But staff were friendly and service was good so ya about average and couldnt really complain.

Met up with my sister in town recently for lunch. We found a seat at that back and perused the menu. We hadn't been approached by a waiter so ordered at the bar. Room was dimly lit and noisy. We both had the carbonara (under 10E)which arrived in less than five minutes. It was nothing to write home about, it was hot and plentiful and by that stage I'd been expecting worse. Won't be revisiting

Popped in here for an early dinner before going to the cinema. I had a chicken burger, it was dry and the salad was limp. Chips were passable but nothing spectacular. Atmosphere was ghastly - it's too bright and the older clientele are very noisy - the acoustics are terrible so you can hear the cackling and screeching from the other end of the place. Overall a totally unpleasant experience.

Called in here for a quick lunch. It was not a pleasant experience. I understand you get what you pay for but their 'homemade soup' was so obviously packet soup and the sandwich filling had seen better days. Would buy a cuppa soup and a sandwich from the corner shop before returning here.
