Dined here during the Christmas period, mid week. The food was good, although the steak was slightly disappointing considering we're in a grill house and eventually spending 60-70 bucks per head. The atmosphere and decor was entertaining, it's hard not to like Marco Pierre White's barbecue ninja selfies on the wall and the place was full of beautiful happy people. The service let things down a bit, we had three people waiting on us during the course of evening and our table had to ask twice for at least two orders. To be honest, this is more like a 'ticked box' sort of restaurant I can tell people I have been to, rather than a place I would like to regularly frequent.

Service shocking . Wouldn't go back so expensive and no waiters to be seen i would not recommended it at all. Extremely disappointed after hearing such great things.

Fabulous food, lives up to its Michelin starred chef's reputation. We had a 2 course lunch deal and the portions were very generous. The fish cake with poached egg and hollandaise was mouth watering. Will be back soon

We went here for lunch on a Taste voucher. It was a very limited menu with this offer. We had to have the steak at €5 extra.as there was not a hot chicken dish available. The chips accompanying the steak tasted reheated.and looked shrivelled on the plate. Its as though if you go into Marco pierre with a voucher.even though you paid good money for it.they treat you differently. To top it all.they charged €9 for a glass of pinot gricio.I'll say that again €9. Way over priced. I'll have to consider whether to return here. I'm considering going to one of the many other restaurants on Dawson street. Perhaps there will be better value for money.

Had lunch here with a friend. The restaurant is very nice and the staff were very attentive most of the time. While the food for the main part was good but the chips served with the steak (which came at supplement to the lunch menu) were soggy and inedible. A bit disappointing for a restaurant of this quality and reputation.

What a good value early bird. Beautiful food. 2 courses about 23 quid. Had a gorgeous shrimp cocktail and pork chop main course which was really well cooked. The service is a real strong point. Very professional and don't bother you too much. Great Friday evening dining!

We dined here with a group for a friends birthday and had high expectations. We were all in unanimous agreement that based on our experience, the place is over rated and over priced. The food was only average. Most of us has the rib-eye steaks - you expect some fat, but about a third of the steak was fat. The meal in general was lacking in flavor. I would not return to try it again.

My wife and I ate here celebrating our 25th Wedding anniversary. We felt very comfortable in this restaurant, the service staff are attentive and discreet without being obsequious. I started with the beetroot slad which was the essence of fine dining, lots of flavours contained in a concise dish. My wife ate from the value menu whic was very good, she had the shrimp salad to begin which was an ample dish and quite delicious. I had the ribeye steak M/R au poivre noir with raisin sec L'Armangac cooked to perfection and as tender as you could wish, I thought though that there were too many raisins accompanying. I also had the extra mushrooms and haricot verts, which were both excellent. I would absolutely recommend this steakhouse to anyone considering eating here. I thought it was good value for a city centre recommended restaurant also.
