Love Xico for food and drinks. It was jam packed on Friday night, but the service was good and really fast. We ordered a few plates between two of us, that we could pick at and chat. The beer margaritas are awesome and the refilled our tortilla chips which i thought was a nice touch. Every time I've gone here I've really enjoyed it. Drinks are a little bit on the pricey side, but that's to be expected.

Went here my a friend for Cinco De Mayo expecting to enjoy lovely food in a fun atmosphere. When we arrive around 6:30 there were a number of people in the restaurant, music was very loud and we were left standing with no waiter service coming to see us to a table. After looking around we eventually got a waiter to check and see us to a table. I ordered chicken tinga, burger and sweet potatoe chips. My friend had a burger and papas bravas. Food was served up quickly, however the plates were taken back in a quick like fashion also. Chicken Tinga was served nice but tasted bland, burger was very average. We had margaritas served with crushed ice which were nice, however lacked alcohol. Overall very disappointed with this restaurant, lacked atmosphere, music way too loud, food and drink average and not value for money. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it to friends.

Ordered the Bah Mi Crispy pork belly, It was rubbery and not crispy as explained. Then ordered the Bang Bang, and the beef mince tasted off, not like beef at all. The sweet potaotoe fries and El Vaquero Tostadas were lovely though.

We know XICO as a bar and nightclub and it is one of the trendiest to emerge in Dublin in recent times. While in the city today we decided to have lunch here and it was a great experience. It is downstairs and appears dark and uninviting - not the case at all ! The venue has been designed and decorated in the authentic Mexican tradition. We had a Pollo Adobo Taquitos and Perro Sucio. Beautiful food. Aoife, our waitress was very friendly and the service was excellent. A great new find on the South Side.
