Great food in a lovely location. Some of the post work drinks people can be a little annoying but once they left the atmosphere was much better. The waitress was warm and friendly and the food was simple but great. Will definitely return.

Very enjoyable family meal in the Pembroke. Venue is very modern and quirky, service was excellent and food really enjoyable. I had chowder to start and steak for main both very enjoyable. Recommend.

Greta food and service hampered by very disappointing venue- suggest set tables with linen and cutlery to give some feeling of a restaurant not just a pub. We could tell most of the other clients were disappointed in their initial reactions to the place

We dine in the Bar area of the Pembroke, the food was amazing, staff were very friendly and the place had a lovely atmosphere. This was my first visit but I will certainly be going back. Claire neill

Hubby and I had a lazy lunch here a few Friday's ago. We were given the best seat in the house, right at the window and sat in comfy armchairs watching the world go by. The staff were friendly and attentive. Hubby had a Guinness steak and mushroom pie with mash and I had a ciabatta with roasted veg, basil pesto and salad, and even though this was a deviation from the menu slightly, it was no problem at all. Their pineapple coleslaw was absolutely delicious and my hubby raved over his pie and mash. I had a cheeky dessert of banoffi and it was yum. Perfect spot for lunch or dinner, and very comfortable surroundings. We will definitely go back again.

We went for lunch and arrived about 2pm, very busy but a little bit noises, I had the soup/sandwich combination, soup could have been a little warmer, while my wife had the Guinness stew which was excellent. Followed up by delicious coffee, overall very happy with our visit.
