My hubby and I stopped in here after the St Patrick's Day Parade and while it was packed as we expected, we still found two stools at the bar. I loved their toblerone cocktail, totally delish. I ordered their Ardsallagh Goats cheese salad minus the black pudding as I am vegetarian, and also a side of garlic aioli potatoes and coleslaw. Hubby had smoked salmon with fries and slaw. We were both very impressed with the food. I'm very fussy and usually have to plan restaurants in advance due to my strict vegetarianism.... and even I thought it was fantastic. We will definitely be back

Met a friend here for lunch recently and we were so pleasantly surprised that I felt I should write a review to spread the word! Had a day off last Friday as I needed to go to town to shop for a wedding outfit. After leaving Brown Thomas we were trying to find somewhere close by where we could sit outside and get a nice bite to eat and a glass of wine or two! After checking the menus in a few places on Duke St and St Anne St we then stumbled across The Grafton Lounge I had only been here late night at the weekend so I didn't know they even served food. The food was really good quality - I got a Harissa Salad (i think that was what it was called) My friend got a Falafel wrap which was served with the tastiest paprika chips. My only negative comment if I was to have one was that we had to go indoors to get the bill and pay as it was pretty busy with the staff trying to service inside and outside. We will be back!

I love the graft on lounge, love the decor and love the atmosphere. Think their cocktails are fab and 2 for 1 is amazing on them as they're great quality, not like most places that do this crappy 5 euro cocktails! The staff are always so friendly, not the quickest service but it's quite a laid back place so you don't really mind, the food is good, not outstanding. There's so many great deals and offers around everywhere at the moment early birds etc and I think maybe the graft on lounge should look at introducing something like this, and make portions bigger. One of my fav bars in dublin though and great for a night out

Went for lunch on a workday. When you have less than an hour for lunch you really need the food to come out quickly but we did have to wait. The room was busy but not full. The food was well presented and portions good but my falafel wrap lacked flavour and had rocket in it & on the side. Rocket is good but there is a limit! I would go again but this would not be my first choice for lunch in the Grafton St area.

Great little spot for lunch, very open & bright. Nice selection of mostly hot sandwiches and salads. The have main courses (burgers etc) as well. I didn't notice a 'soup & sandwich' deal but it would be great if they introduced one. The chips are fab but my pulled pork sandwich, although tasty, was dripping wet. Otherwise; comfy tables, courteous staff and really quick turnaround. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Went to the Grafton Lounge for lunch on the Saturday before Christmas. We had tried and left several other places which were jam packed and arrived in the Grafton Lounge, saw a couple of free tables and sat down. After sitting for about ten minutes at an uncleared table and having several staff walking up and down and obviously seeing us, we decided to grab menus from another table. After looking at these for another ten minutes, we went to the bar to ask if someone could take our order. They then sent someone over to clear the table and ask "if we were ready to order"...that got a smart response! I ordered scampi with fries and salad while my friend ordered bbq wings and homefries. Mine was pretty mediocre, the scampi was ok but not the nicest I've ever had, the chips were average and the salad was a pathetic few lettuce leaves on the side of the plate. My fried said her bbq wings tasted like they'd been dipped in water as opposed to bbq sauce and the homefries were thin potato slices soaked with olive oil and covered in cheese, which didn't look appetising or taste good. Also the place was quite cold and several tables were left uncleared around us (it wasn't that busy and there were loads of staff around - they just didn't seem to be doing much). When we finished we sat for a while and tried to wave at passing staff to get the bill but again we had to go to the bar ourselves to pay and no one bothered to ask if everything was ok. Overall, an awful lunch and we will most definitely not be going back.

I was at a barbeque here during the Summer and the food then was quite nice. I can't say it was too good the last time I ate here. Granted all I had was a chicken ceaser salad while meeting a few friends, it was still a pretty poor effort. Far too much dressing, leaves too large to easily eat (I'm sorry but if I'm paying for a salad it should have been chopped sufficiently), the chicken itself was in tiny pieces which were barely identifiable and clearly from a packet of pre-cooked meat that you would buy in any shop. Overall disappointing and could do better I'm sure, but I don't think I'll be back to find out.

I would not rate this place highly at all. Yes the staff are v nice, but I went here for lunch and there was a very bad smell lingering in the whole place. Obviously from the night before, as this is a popular bar.The food special was 10e for a soup wrap and a drink. the soup was very watery and the wrap was TINY I mean it had barely anything in it....3/4 strings of red onion and some brie. It was pitiful. Considering the great lunch places/deals at the moment it wasn't good at all.

Stopped in here because of one of those chaps who stand on Grafton with a pointing sign! I should have trusted my instinct. Grubby place. I am sure it once looked smart as it is well fitted out. I'm sorry but there is no excuse for bad soup & poor wraps. Service was appaling (& I'm talking texting staff while I waited & having to chase drinks) 3 staff & 10 customers!! Sorry chaps but you got it really wrong today. I hope you were having a once off. Good tunes on though!
