The outdoor seating area was what attracted us to this bar as it was a lovely sunny warm evening and outdoor seating was at a premium. We opted for wine which was nice but the food was disappointing. The vegetarian lasagna should be renamed baked cheese. It lacked vegetables and was so full of cheese one would have nightmares for a year!.The chips on the side were excessively greasy in saying that my friend fared better with bangers and mash. I would go again for a glass of vino and sunshine but I would give the food a miss

I've been here a lot over the years and the service is usually quiet well but we went there yesterday on our hour lunch and were left disappointed. We ordered our food at 1.15pm, Our drinks arrived down maybe 5 minutes later but it was 1.50pm before our food arrived. We didn't order anything specifically difficult; a wrap, a panini and a burger, so why take so long? We literally wolfed the food down in minutes as we had to head back to work. Have to say, the prices aren't great. I can only assume this is due to the location; they want to make as much as they can out of tourists! Not sure if I'll rush back here after this. I know the people I went with weren't blown away with their first experience here so potential customer's have been lost!

Walking by we decided drop in for the lunch deal, food looked nice that was served to costumers who were seated outside. There was no one to greet us and we stood for couple minutes before waiter came told us sit anywhere you like, my daughter had go and get the menu herself. I ordered mild chicken Korma she ordered burger, when my food arrived the curry smothered the rice which I later found, presentation wasn't the best neither was the Korma, it just tasted of a mild curry, she enjoyed the burger. We ordered dessert which took about fifteen minutes reach our table. Staff could be a little more friendly.

I love coming here. They make great sandwiches and paninis and delicious soups. You can get a soup and sandwich combo for 10 euro. They also have daily specials. The portions are always big. Service is good and seating is always nice a cozy. Great place to unwind after walking around Dublin.

Have eaten there twice for lunch recently. Mains, go for the specials, are good. Had bangers and mash today and the mash you could happily eat with a spoon. the gravy was very good and the onion rings were a nice touch. Desserts tend to be small but again are well made and tasty. All in all its a significant cut above normal pub grub and there is extra attention to detail on the way it's all put thought out and presented. The lunchtime offer for 8.95 of starter + main OR main + dessert is excellent value. All you have to worry about is getting a seat!

Came here for lunch today (Sunday) with a friend, I had the Cajun Chicken Burger with chips and he had the Beef Lasagne with mash and salad. The food is great, the atmosphere is good. Along the walls they have these deep purple seats that you just sink into. The food came promptly, with good portions and a side bowl of gorgeous golden chips. The service was also quick, easy, and friendly. This is the first time I have been here, but I will definitely come again. It is exactly what you need on a cold wet Sunday afternoon.

Food awful awful awful. Thai chicken curry was probably the worst we have experienced. Tiny potion of rice and curry was something out of a packet. Burger itself was ok but the bun and huge raw onion rings, raw red and yellow pepper all suggested that this place is a spot more suited to drinking pints than serving food. Its a shame cause the food here used to be ok. New owners show zero love to the food they serve. Service was ok at the start. When plates were collected at the end of the meal, that could've been the manager, he did not even ask was everything ok etc. Just picked the plates and left (and it wasn't busy) Will not return and would advise others who care about their food to follow suit. A thoroughly disappointing Saturday lunch

Great Value! Great place to get some dinner and a pint. Watching the match last Sunday I had the lasagne which was filling and tasty. Stayed to have a couple of drinks afterwards in this place as the atmosphere and service was good.

Went in here after work one evening and couldn't fault this place, absolutely fantastic. Their daily specials are excellent - you get a choice of 4 or 5 dishes and you get a free starter or dessert with it for 8.95eur. I got the bangers and mash and it was a decent size portion and I got a lovely dessert as well. My Mam had the steak which was excellent and for 15eur probably the cheapest I've seen in a long time. The staff were also lovely as well, will definitely be going back here.

Sunday Lunch for €8.95 each! I had a cajun chicken burger and my friend had lasagne, chips and salad. We were both happy with the mains. The only thing I would mention is that the chips were a little greasy.

the €8.95 special menu is fantastic, tried the Shepherds Pie and the Cajun Chicken, both were superb, that with either a free desert or soup starter is perfect for a quick dinner in town!
