Both the curries that me and my friend ordered were delicious and the portion was good. The garlic naan was nice and soft. The portion of the rice was a little small but other than that it was all good.

I love Indian food and I would recommended this place to any Indian food lover. The naan breads are delish, freshly made, and so crispy. The chicken madras is just beautiful just a nice amount of sauce. nI found the staff very helpful and advisory on how hot the food can be

The family and I have eaten here many times.Simply the best indian food around in my opinion. Very reasonable if you eat off the early bird menu. The meat in so tender and the food is full of great flavours. I've never been disappointed here. Th

We booked with a Hi-Life card which gave use 2 for the price of 1! Boy was it good value, food was really good although they ran out of the jumbo prawns so the other half could not have the tandoori prawns she was looking forward to. That said the food was very good I had a sizzling Tandoori mixed grill which was fantastic! we will be back

I waited 45 minutes for my main course and when It arrived it was Luke warm. I sent it back to be reheated and it was brought back to me no longer than a minute later. It was not much warmer than when I first returned it. Not a service to be recommended.

A friend & I bought a voucher for this restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent & the food was one of the best Indian meals I have eaten. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I will definitely go back. When we left there wasn't a spare seat in the place. That to me, says it all. Well done Spice of India.

Having purchased a Menupages Voucher for this restaurant and made a reservation, I read some mixed and very bad reviews on the Menupages website. Therefore, it was with some trepidation that we went to the restaurant. Our fears were unfounded. We were met at the door and escorted to a good table by a very pleasant member of the staff. The décor was very basic but comfortable and the young cosmopolitan clientele appeared to be enjoying themselves. The menu was quite extensive and fairly priced as was the wine list. A poppadom and some dips were brought to the table while we examined the menu and wine list. The food was excellent and authentically Indian. My partner chose a prawn dish for the main course while I have a most enjoyable lamb curry. Afterwards we were offered a Baileys cream liqueur and some sweets by the management. All in all a most enjoyable experience and a restaurant I would recommend.
