This place is on top of the Dean Hotel with a fantastic view of the city. We rocked up without a reservation on a Friday evening as we were just looking for an impromptu pizza. There were no tables available, this place gets pretty booked up but the hosts are friendly and we were offered a seat at the bar. We ordered drinks and pizza. The pizza here is extremely good and the bar tender is friendly. We stayed for another drink and the left. Sophie's is a great little place, for longer stays they also have a rooftop bar.

I've checked other reviews too after I had this meal with 7 friends, and I must say that food is average and does not match the prices you pay for it. View is all right, decoration very New York style. Unsuspecting people that haven't had the chance to check what Camden street, which is just at the back of Harcourt, may have write other review. But as I foreigner living in Dublin, there is much economical and nicer places to eat. A good sell point is the roof garden, but the photos are better than the actual roof which is tiny. Come see by yourselves first before spending your money here. Definitively too expensive for the level of food they offer. If you want to spend a lot of money spent it somewhere else, the view of the dirty rooftops are not worth it and the food neither.

Brought my mum here last Monday 19/6/17, on a lovely sunny Monday afternoon for lunch! We dinned on the Terrace which was much smaller than I had thought it would be, however, its a lovely spot for a bit of grub and a libation. Both of us had the half rotisserie chicken which was succulent and extremely tender and tasty, it came with apple and fennel slaw (Delish), skinny fries could have been crispier and gravy to the side which was yum!!!! Complimented with a beer and a cappuccino, it came in at €50 inclusive of tip! A definite must, I will be back!!!!

One of the best meals I've had in a long time, the hake was cooked to perfection. Excellent service and a relaxed ambience made for a perfect evening with friends

A group of us (6 adults) went here for dinner yesterday Sun Apr 2017 and unfortunately have to say everyone was disappointed. it is over priced poor quality food. Salads ok, steak just ok and Pizzas were over done to boarder line burnt and served on wonky cheap platters. It was extremely sunny yesterday afternoon and we were seated at the back window where the sun was shinning fully onto our faces. Some of us had sunglasses with us and had to use them, but when we asked if the blinds could be pulled down slightly so we could eat in comfort, one blind was broken and when the other was pulled down reluctantly the other customers at the bar area gave us dirty looks. We had nearly finished eating when the blind was pulled up electrically from the bar without even asking us. It was so uncomfortable, the food does not reflect the cost. Very disappointed and won't be going back.

Went to this spot to celebrate my birthday and I absolutely liked it. I enjoy restaurants over hotels rooftops, the view from Sophie's is just beautiful. Good food, wine and service. I'd highly recommend.

This place sounds fantastic on paper but it actually is quite tacky in real life. It is big and loud and there is a buzz about the place but it is not the place to go if you like quality food. The food is delivered too quickly to be freshly cooked and the plates are cold! The views are awful as apart from an odd church spire you are looking at grey buildings, roofs and cranes. The seats in the booths are basic and not that clean. Many many more restaurants around the area serving food of a much higher standard. I would not return to this restaurant or recommend to anyone.

Amazing food, great service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend. The closest thing to authentic Italian pizza that I've tasted in Dublin.

Well you really come here for the view, which is fantastic, if you're wondering what certain landmarks are just ask your waiter, they're very nice and friendly. Its slightly above standard prices for a pizza/steak but they don't rub it in really...place has a very cool vibe and would be great to watch the sunset in...overall will be back :-)

I was really looking forward to the breakfast at Sophie's. Unfortunately once we were seated we were forgotten and everybody that came in after us was served before us. I want to note here, that we booked a table for Breakfast as well. After we managed to gain someones attention they mixed up my partners drinks. The food quality was unfortunately not the best as well. I would only come back for the food and maybe even cocktails, but for the moment definitely not for the food.

Lovely atmosphere, very busy despite it being a wet Monday night between Christmas and NYE, definitely had to book. Shared charcuterie, two mains and a bottle of wine for €100. Will be back to sample the pizzas and brunch

It's worth visiting here for the setting and views alone. It's a little on the expensive side, but no more than expected. Food is quite good. Starters were very generous portions but mains are a little on the small side. I'd recommend ordering sides. Our waiter was lovely, very friendly and they organised a Birthday cake for my friend without any fuss.
