This is a great restaurant with a really interesting take on some classic Italian food! The staff are very friendly but it’s hard to get their attention when the restaurant is busy as it can get very loud. It’s on the expensive side given the size of the portions but it’s good quality! Try the calamari with lime & chilli - addictive!!!

The restaurant itself is very nice, except how very very close the tables for 2 are to each other. We went for the early bird menu.My Caprese was very nice but at an addition charged of 2.95 the gambas for 3 prawns that you had to peel yourself wasn't work the money or effort involved My hake was so over cooked and my husbands chicken breast saltimbocca was also dry and it hadn't any sage that had been in the description and just 2 baby potatoes. The cheesecake also had a 2.95 additional charge. The Ice cream was very nice. I can't say the same for the 2nd 2 drinks we ordered, as they never came. We mentioned this to another waiter who apologized but then when we asked our waitress for our bill she totally forgot to bring it to us so we got up and paid at the bar.She had passed our table 3 times after we asked for the bill.It was the same waiter that apologized when we told him we had been waiting for our bill. Very disappointing .

Enjoyed a fab early bird on Saturday night. Great atmosphere, attentive wait staff and the meatballs are just delicious. I'll definitely be back again.

We were in on an early bird menu at 5:30 on a Sunday night, so it was a bit quiet, but very attentive staff throughout! As starters we had the gambas (no taste explosion..., but ok) and the Bresaola (brilliantly prepared!). Mains were vegetarian Pasta Zucca (great taste and presentation) and chicken breast Saltimboca (a solid meal with crunchy bacon wrapped chicken filets). The wine, house wine Pinot Grigio, was lovely and fresh and great accompaniment for the dishes. We skipped dessert, but opted for coffee. Overall no weaknesses, a great pre-concert experience.

Went for Brunch with a group of friends, the place was buyzzing, and had a lively atmospheare, I had the crab cakes, and I didnt particularly enjoed them, the cakes was too salty and couldt taste the flavour of the crab, was quite greasy for my taste as well, the boys had the Irish Breakfast, and it looked delicious, huge portion as well, my other friend had the French toas with Bacon, and it looked scrumptious! I maybe choose the wrong dish, thats why I'd love to go back to try something different!

Enjoyed a visit to San Lorenzo last week. Exactly as it says on the tin- a New York style Italian. Great atmosphere- the place was buzzing. Food was excellent as was the service.

A group of 9 booked in for a Saturday brunch here on their last sitting, San Lorenzo's always advise of the 1hr and 15 sitting time which can be seen as a downside I guess but when the staff are as efficient and friendly as theirs, it's actually a lot more time than you think. The kitchen was closing after 15 mins of our arrival so it meant it a was a lot more relaxed and not as much pressure on us to eat our food without chewing ;) My first experience with San Lorenzo's pales in comparison to this one and I adore the style and vibe of the place, especially the music they play. 10/10

Excellent place for a good brunch. Delicious eggs benedict, and lots of interesting dishes. The place is very busy at weekends and maybe a touch on the crammed side but definitely worth it for the tasty food.

Myself and the girls went for a birthday brunch on Saturday, we love the food here so usually go here once every couple of months. On this occasion I still couldn't fault the food but the service was an experience. One of our friends had organised a surprise for the birthday girl and had pre-ordered and paid for 5 drinks as she couldn't attend which is the guts of 50 euro. Not one mention was made of the drinks until questioned at the end of the meal when she text us. There was no apology made for the error on the part of the restaurant and we were spoken to as if we were to blame. We wont be back here due to the rudeness we experienced. Human error is understandable but it doesn't take much for an apology out of common courtesy and good customer service. We were advised she will be refunded but it made us question what would have happened if we didn't bring it up.

Overall we had a great night. Atmosphere was upbeat and buzzing. Food was delicious but portions were a bit small for me. Maybe that's coz I'm greedy! Good selection of wine and drinks. Next time ill have to try for brunch.

Read really great reviews, but was left dissapointed. I ordered the San Lorenzo Brunch Tacos. The food was not warm, and felt as though it had been pre-made and sitting around. My Girlfriend got poached Eggs, which where hard boiled, accompanied by Bravas which was cold and hard. All together a bad experience

We have been here before but it was mid-week and there were 5 of us - really enjoyed that visit hence the return visit. This time just the two of us went on a Saturday night. The food was very good - best anti pasta shared plate we ever had and chicken supreme mains were also very good. However the background music was not in the background ! it was cranked up like a busy pub - we couldn't really talk to each other. The tables for two had the smallest gap between them - barely room to squeeze by. Dining experience was spoiled by this and we will most likely wait for another mid-week/group opportunity if we decide to go back again!

The seats were very close together and you could literally share your dinner with the table next to you. The early bird menu is good value for money but it doesn;'t have the nutella cheesecake on it. Only one veg option for mains on the menu!! A bit annoying. It was lovely though and i asked for the cream sauce on the side. It didnt need the sauce it was perfect on its own. The chicken was cooked beautifully and the corn puree was really smooth and sweet, perfect accompaniment. Only disappointment of the night was the nutella cheesecake, wasn't worth all the hype, the garnish was nicer that the cake. Thought the pecan was totally gorgeous and will order that next time.
