Me and my Fiancè decided to go to Dublin to spend the night for her birthday, she had told me about Salamanca for a long time and told me I had to go, so I made a reservation for 10 pm on the 11th of February, we showed up at 9:30 and I explained I booked a table on their website for 10 pm, the waitress said I don't see your reservation but told us to follow her. She was rudely interrupted by the manager who told her the restaurant was closed. We tried to explain that we had a reservation and that it says it is open until 12. (There was still lots of people eating and there was other reservations still to show up). He got cheeky with my Fiancè and me so we decided to leave. The whole argument ruined my SO's night and our long awaited trip to Dublin. If you value great customer service, I urge you to stay away from here! I wish I could comment on the food, however we never got that far unfortunately. I also hope he apologised to the waitress who was friendly and happy to cater to our every need before being shut down. Really, really disappointed, not to be expected in one of the friendliest cities in the world. Oh well.

Great atmosphere & great food. Though we had an early booking 5:15 on Saturday evening the restaurant was full & there was a great buzz in the place. Really enjoyed the evening with friends. Will be back again.

A lovely restaurant and very busy which shows its popularity. We had a lovely friendly waiter serve us who couldn't be faulted on anything. All dishes arrived together, the food was wonderful and our water was kept topped up. Will definitely be returning.

Visited for a late lunch, 3.30 on a Friday. Had the two course lunch for a 10 EUR - a good goat's cheese croquette starter and ricotta and spinach tortellini main. I'm a vegetarian and I was really happy, my sis enjoyed her calamari starter and paella main too. Really amazing lunch value, with friendly service, right in the city.

Visited for lunch on a Thursday, and booked through Menu Pages because I liked the look of the menu. As it was a mother/daughter lunch, I felt money was no option, but the impressive lunch menu meant we had a 3 course meal, with one bottle of red wine for under 50 euro. Very impressive. The deal is 10 euro for 2 courses, either starter and main, or glass of wine with main. We chose the starter and main, and spent a further 22.50 on wine (very reasonable for a gorgeous Chilean red). And the dessert choice on the lunch menu was small but perfect, so we each had different desserts. The food ordered for starter was calamari (perfect) and spicy chicken wings (spicy, hot and perfect) and we both had the pork belly with small fried potatoes, succulent and perfect. The desserts were warm chocolate cake, and deep fried custard cubes with coconut. Seriously good food for under 30 eruo plus the wine, which brought the bill to 48.95. The staff who served were very friendly and because we had booked through MenuPages, we were given a complimentary glass of Prosecco to start. Highly recommended.

Chose Salamanca for a night out with the girls from work. Everyone loved their meals, the service was fab and we could not get over the value for the early bird menu. Great place.
