I booked Mao as my friend and I were in the mood for Asian cuisine. This was probably the 5th time I have been to Mao and the food was delicious, even better than I remembered. I had the lime beef dish and it was amazing, so fresh and zingy and it was served very quickly. My friend had Thai green curry with Tofu and it was also very good. I look forward to returning soon.

I have eaten here often and have seldon been disappointed. Brought my two teenage nieces for lunch ( their first visit) we had the Pad Thai, Singapore Noodles and Chicken with Cashew Nut - all thoroughly enjoyed and spoken about since. A return visit is a promise !!! Good value for lunch, plenty of choice and decent portions .

I ate here for the first time and opted for the nasi goreng. It was a bit bland tbh - could have done with some lime to squeeze into it, or a bit more paste in the rice itself. Saying that, I would try other food on their menu - just not that dish again. The place is lovely if you can get an outside seat and the staff are very friendly.

Love this place! Staff are wonderful, food is fresh and Devine. Will come back a lot. Their aromatic grilled chicken salad is one of my favourites although very hard to pick a favourite as every dish is mouthwatering. Looking forward to my next feast:)

Food in general was nice but nothing out of the ordinary. Service was quite good but suffered when it got busier. Good location and reasonable prices for the location.

I went here with a friend recently, I ordered spring rolls and Malaysian chicken with Chocolate cake for dessert. Overall, the food was good. The chocolate cake was to die for, that was the best part of the meal. The service was okay, although, slightly slow. I felt like it took a long time for our order to be taken initially. I would consider dining at this restaurant again. It is a nice place!

We went to mao at 5.30pm as we were going to the gaiety. There was no atmosphere as it was very early. Food was nice portions a bit small I thought. Wine had gone up 3euro a bottle in the last few months but all in all it was good for a quick bite.

Had dinner here on the bank holiday Monday for an early bird. Great value and great service. Though next time I would ask for more spice in the main as it was a bit mild for what it was.

Went here on a Saturday night so it was busy and a bit of atmosphere there. We ordered of the Christmas menu which was quite good value, However the soup i had was inedible due to the amount of chili and even more so, coriander. Everything else we had was OK but nothing nothing was outstanding it all just felt too much like a food factory. I also really didn't like the service charge on every table so i think i tipped less than i normally would have. overall i though this place was inexpensive for nothing special.

Great lunch menu. Plenty of choice and the staff are very attentive while ensuring you're not delayed during your lunch hour. Chicken Satay was a tasty starter, while the Chilli Chicken Ramen was just nice, not too filling or spicy.
