Ate here with friends and as always not disappointed. I possibly prefer it at lunch time or early evening.

My go to place in Dublin, love love love this place. Used to not have to book, which was great , but even now they will try really hard to fit you in. The food is great, but the staff are the stars.

Our family Christmas meal is here every year. That speaks volumes. Its a very stable restaurant with a stable menu.... will it be cod next year too? Its good food with a French nod. At Christmas time of course it is packed and the staff are working very hard. A little bit of a change to the menu would be great- specifically the fish!

Good Sunday brunch at L’Gueuleton two weeks ago. Started with a foie gras parfait with poached pear which was absolutely delicious. My wife had the French onion soup which also looked good. For mains I had the roast pork belly which was slow cooked to perfection and came with a glass of vin rouge, while my wife had some really good Toulouse sausages. We shared a cheese plate to finish, which had a really nice mix of different cheeses. Service was a bit slow but I think that was down to the popularity of the place!

2nd trip to the this restaurant in the last few months. A really enjoyable evening, lovely relaxed atmosphere and good service. Food was very good, courgette flower starter was very tasty and very nicely presented, pork belly a particular highlight, the white pudding was divine, my only complaint is i wanted more! A very good selection of wines at reasonable prices also.

Dined here with a group of friends, first impressions quite dark we needed to use our phone torches to read the menu. Food was very slow to arrive but absolutely delicious when it finally arrived. Lovely atmosphere. We shall revisit as the food was so good

Visited this restaurant on the 19th of October for Sunday lunch. Very disappointed with our visit. Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. Food was average, portions small. They did accommodate our children with half portions, as there was no children's menu. I noticed 1 staff member look disdainfully when the children walked quietly to the bathroom. We were a party of 12 and in my opinion the staff should have been more attentive. There was only about 4 other tables seated during our meal, so the staff were not under pressure. Not one member of staff came over to check if our meal was okay. When we were leaving the restaurant, not one member of staff acknowledged us or thanked us for our custom. We definitely won't be back.

Hadn't been in town on a Saturday night for ages and a big birthday with a big gang was daunting. We wanted a buzz but we didn't want to annoy anyone...AND did we choose right...Great buzz...great set menu (especially hake, half chicken, Banana Tarte) great service....then upstairs to No Name bar...GREAT Birthday....do it again anytime....

Had lunch at L'Gueuleton on Saturday and it was lovely. Not too busy but a good buzz with people having leisurely lunches! I had a salad and coffee and my friend went for the steak sandwich with fries on the side. Both were really good and good value. Had never been there for lunch but had dinner there a few times - so I'll definitely be back again for lunch!

From the moment we arrived the staff and atmosphere were excellent. We were not rushed or did not feel that we had to hurry up and leave.....I like this in a restaurant and it's hard to find these days! The food was fabulous and we had a great time. We had a variety of food from black pudding, a sharing platter of antipasto, fish, steak, sausage & mash, we also indulged in some deserts which were also excellent. It was perfect for the night we were looking as we were entertaining friends from Canada. Will definitely be back.... The restaurant doesn't take bookings so might not be great for big groups depending on the time you want to eat.

Dined here in Feb 2013 and loved it. Recommended it to many friends after. Decided to go back as Christmas treat. Menu was different to website and one on offer was a poor substitute and set menu for groups was not available and this not mentioned on website. Food was pretty basic and waiter who served us food was not very friendly. For the prices should be more attentive. Will not be returning. Felt ripped off leaving. Will not recommend this place again

Thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, the music, the food, the presentation of the food, the taste of the food, the unrushed experience, the friendly yet professional staff; will be returning soon. Steaks were cooked exactly as requested, wines are reasonably priced.
