A perfect place if you want to wait for an hour, be abused by the manager and go home hungry I was really looking forward to a great burger. I went to Jo'burger near St Steven Green. It was around 7:30 pm. As it was pretty full inside (it is a small place), I chose to sit outside. I ordered straight away - just a burger, no sides, no extras, no drinks and then waited patiently for the food to arrive. After 1/2 hr, I asked the waiter who was serving next table how long was the order still going to take. He said i"t is coming now, let me check." He never came back. After 15 or so more minutes I went inside and said to one of the servers, admittingly with some irritation in my voice - "This is bordering on ridiculous. How long does it take to flip a burger?". The guy said that he was sorry, that they were very busy and the food was coming now. So I went back to the table. After maybe 5 minutes some guy (I have no idea who he was), charged out of the restaurant and screamed at me in front of everyone "If you are ever going to abuse my staff again, I am going to throw you out. " and he run back to the restaurant, without letting me say a word. I was dumbfounded. Who was he? I presume he was in charge. I followed him inside and tried to get an explanation what prompted his abusive behaviour. He was not prepared to say it, to explain, to call the "abused staff" so we could sort it out. He was cocky and arrogant. I said I don't swear in public, so I really would like to know what was it all about. He still would not tell me. I said I will post about this on social media - He just laughed and said that I could post whatever I wanted. Then, like nothing happened, he said that my burger was coming now. I was lost for words. I wanted to tell him where to stick it, but I just said that I didn't want it, then turned and left. I can't believe that a person like this is allowed to deal with the public. He didn't want to know my side of the story, he didn't ask - what seems to be the problem? He just attacked and abused me. If the restaurant was really busy (which it wasn't), the waiter could have told me that there will be close to an hour wait for the food and ask me if it was ok and I wanted to wait for it. Those guys just don't give a damn. I will never go there again. You can at your own peril. The food looked good, but so are many other places in St Stephen Green. Not worth the hassle and aggravation. Go elsewhere.

I find this place is hit and miss. On last visit my entire meal was extremely dry and bland. No amount of sauce could fix. Not good value for money.

Little pricey and I'm not a fan of the stools but the food is interesting and delicious, couldn't go wrong with Jo'Burger

This was our second visit in a month to Jo'Burger in town. It's quite the hipster place (especially on a Saturday night) and the DJ was playing great House tunes. You can't book a table and the place is always packed but you shouldn't have to wait too long. The later you go, the easier it is to get a table. The food is great, even if you don't like burgers. The buns are a bit stupid, as it's impossible to eat them by hand. But now I always go for the Tortilla version. If you're in a couple, be prepared to be sitting with strangers. This is fine for us as it's quite fun to ear-wig couples conversations. The benches are a bit hard for sitting around for a long time and the bathrooms could do with cleaning more often. The service is slow due to the number of people but the waiters & waitresses are really nice people. My tip is to double up on the beer order and you'll be sorted for the evening. All in all, a great place, great food and not too expensive. It might not be for you if you don't like loud music and are looking for a romantic evening.

I love the burgers and the whole concept. the only think was the service, slow, they forgot about our drinks and cutlery and they served a couple next to us first even they came way later than us.

A friend has tried to take me to this restaurant on a number of occasion but I thought it was another burger joint and have resisted - I had been totally missing out it seems! So you get to chose the meat, the filling and can have with out any bread at all - I had the Lamb with harris a mint aioli & rocket, we got a side of fries and ruby coleslaw and it was completely delicious.. not a bun in sight! Was really impressed with menu and food and will definitely be back, highly recommend.

Went here with some mates the other day and it's the most hipster place I've ever been too. Try to imagine a second hand shop that only sells stuff from urban outfitters. That hipster. Bit mad being there, water is served in old wine bottles, cutlery is placed on the table in old tin cans, then your bill is given to you in a tin can also, they only sell beer you never heard of and about 10 types of cheese and not one of them is chedder or an easy single. The burger was lovely but there was a bit of confusion ordering it because of the way they serve the buns, the chips and onion rings left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed like nice people and were quick to take our order and deliver our food. All in all, not a bad place, just a bit mental.

First time here and loved it. Music, atmosphere, friendly staff, food really tasty. Will most definitely be back. The prices seem high but well worth it as stuffed leaving.

Best burger I've ever had in my life. Amazing, extensive and innovative topping choice. Can't wait to get back.

I love Jo'burger so it's fantastic to have one in town! This one is a little more spacious than the original in Rathmines but the food is just the same! The menu has great options, lots of vegetarian items to choose from and their organic twist on everything makes you feel even better about eating burgers and onion rings etc! Definitely be back here, love the food, the vibe and the staff are really nice too. All in all a great please to dine.

Finally I got to try Jo Burger and I wasn't let down. The choice is amazing and the quality of everything is second to none. I had the beef burger with a rasher and egg on top (complete with yummy "Jo" relish) and, even though it was awkward to eat, it tasted fantastic and I left feeling full. The service does let the place down (15 minutes to get our order taken and, when the food did come, it was given to the wrong people) but overall it was a great experience and I'll definitely go back one of the nights the DJs playing.
