Great food in a relaxed atmosphere. I have eaten here quite a few times lately and would highly recommend a visit.

Ate here with a Groupon voucher & chose the Veg Subji option which was a taster of everything. Food cannot be faulted. Everything was so tasty from the spinach & sweet potato pie to the potato and chickpea stew. My only gripe with these places is that when you chose this option they pile everything on the plate and sometimes the flavours mix or are lost. I will return here again especially at €6.95 including drink and 2 salads which were just as tasty and not the run of the mill limp lettuce offered elsewhere.

This place is awful. The worst food I've ever eaten. We were using a group-on voucher. Yes they give you lots but all 4 of us found it inedible and we love Indian food usually and are very happy with vegetarian.

The greatest fast food in Dublin. Delicious, filling, unbelievably healthy, very generous. all for €8.50. Where else can you get that in 10 minutes at that price?

How great to have a veggie and vegan friendly spot to sit down and relax while enjoying a bit of grub! Food is always nice, slightly overpriced for what they offer, I find, but then the location possibly demands it. We love the hippy atmosphere!

I've been to Govindas on several occasions. And there are many reasons I keep on going back. 1. NOWHERE in Dublin offers such good value-for-money meals. 2. nowhere else in Dublin offers vegetarian meals that are reasonably priced. 3. The banoffee pie and cheesecake are delicious! 4. The service is excellent. And one can sit at a table very peacefully for as long as you like, without anyone bothering you. There are also other Govindas restaurants in the city, however I must admit that I especially like this one. It's not the closest to me, but it's my favourite one. and did i mention... the BANOFFEE PIE IS DELICIOUS!!

No fuss, great food joint! A godsend for vegetarian food- especially for the price- for 6 quid I get a plate of wholesome goodness- its always tasty. When not too busy, the people behind the counter will always have a chat with you and add to the experience. Love the daily special dish here- one of my favourites- and the amount is so much that I get it as a takeaway every few days and use it for dinner for 2 days!

I go here all the time. A small plate with a bit of everything is 6euro (can't remember if thats the student price or not) and its ridiculously filling. You get a little mountain of yum food. Great for students.

I just spent the last ten minutes raving about this place in a review and the page refreshed, I blame my tempremental laptop. So I'm going to keep it short and sweet, this place is very delicious, my friends who are not veggie even enjoy it. It is so reasonable and the staff are lovely.

Haven't been there for a while but I miss this place and will drop by very soon. Loved the food, always went for the mixed plate where they put a bit of everything on your plate. Loved the cheese, the sauce on the rice, the chickpeas and the rest!!

Govindas is the pure vegetarian restaurant and it stands up to the mark. Great choice of food and desserts. Remarkable of qualify of Govinda's is certain ingredients like Cottage cheese and sauces are real home/hand made compared to other restaurants. Food is served hot and real value for money. Main dish is Rice served with medium cooked vegetables in curry sauces. A typical meal is served with all necessity vegetables and lentils to cover a regular diet. Nice and real choice of Indian desserts with great taste. Great value for money and real taste of Indian vegetarian food. Highly recommendable.
