We had a voucher for dinner but were told we couldn't avail of BYOB with the voucher that was never specified in any of the terms or conditions but that wouldn't be completely the restaurant's fault. The wings were nice but there was only 4 of them and the tzaziki dip just tasted of pure salt. The Daube of beef the meat itself was nice and tender but the saucegravy was very thin, there was very little mash and the mushrooms were thin and stringy and had a horrible texture. The best course was the cheese board for dessert they was big chucks of chedder, cashel blue, goats and brie with crackers grapes and chutney very nice. The food was up and down but the service was mainly down very slowly between courses there clearly wasn't enough staff on both the floor and probably the kitchen aswell. Basics like cutlery were forgotten and my friend asked for a cup of tea when we finally ordered our desserts she had to ask for the tea again when the desserts finally came. Overall disappointing but maybe we got them on a bad night wouldn't be rushing back though

Went here for a late lunch with the hubbie, food was delicious, staff were lovely. My only negative was the bread that the pate came with was far too sweet. But overall we really enjoyed it & will be back

I ate here for the first time with a friend, last Friday. I picked it, partly because it's a byob but also because I'd never been. I ordered the prawns for starters which were delicious but there was a hair in the salad part of the dish. My friend had the liver parfait which was also delicious. I had the Fritatta for main and it was very tasty, my friend had the lamb which she said was excellent. So a top rating for the food, except for finding the hair. However, when the bill came, they gave us both starters for free, for finding the hair, which was really good of them. The only negative I'd say (and it's only a small thing), is that it is quite noisy in there and not 'music noisy' but just people noisy. But don't let that stop you, check out this place. The staff are lovely, the food is really tasty and it's byob!

I brought my mother here for a Mothers day dinner. We had a voucher for two courses which was a great deal. We ordered the rib eye each and portions were huge. The food was very tasty, the staff were friendly but as it got busier the staff weren't very attentive and we asked for the bill a few times. I would go back though to avail of their BYOB deal (wasn't available with the voucher).

Very disappointing food.we had Bruschetta for starters which probably the worst bruschetta i ever has , a slice of vienna roll which a dry mix of cherry tomatoes and a sliver of rocket , a very bland and tasteless Bruschetta. we also had the Beef & Guinness Stew which was a beef sauce with little or no beef with a tasteless pastry topping . Overall the atmosphere was great but if you want to eat go somewhere else, wont be back ever.

V disappointing meal this evening-overpriced & tasteless. Chicken linguine €17.50 pasta had a tasteless sauce with 2 x tiny bits of chicken. Prawn cocktail - obviously used frozen prawns hence the watery flavourless taste. We won't be returning. Hungry & disgruntled. Greystones

I met a friend here for lunch recently and although the food was nice I thought €10 was a little too much for the small portion of pasta. We were also pretty much alone in there, it was very quiet considering the location.
