Forest Avenue restaurant
8 Sussex Terrace, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin, Dublin 4
Forest Avenue’s objective is to be an informal neighbourhood dining room that is conveniently located in the heart of the fashionable southside suburb of Dublin 4. John and wife Sandy Wyer set up this New York style modern restaurant in order to provide patrons in Dublin with contemporary popular tasting menus at affordable prices.
John’s ambition was always to eventually set up his own restaurant and he is currently the head chef and the proprietor of Forest Avenue which opened in 2013. He was previously appointed as senior tutor at the Dublin Cookery School, and since then Forest Avenue has been met with rave reviews. John’s experience is wide and varied including working in many Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain, Germany and the UK.
