Forest Avenue is without doubt the best meal I have eaten in a while.Every detail from service, food and atmosphere was just perfect.Several courses with lots of incredible little tasters in between.Just stunning food from the first bite of the house sourdough and salty whipped butter, right through to the simple but perfect cheese course.Every course made me think it was the nicest thing I have ever eaten, while all the time the service was friendly, relaxed and enthusiastic about the amazing food.nCan't wait to go back.

Long awaited trip to Forest Avenue for Saturday brunch. The five course surprise tasting menu was superb. Every course was beautifully presented, delicious and just the right portion size to comfortably finish. Service was warm and friendly and at 26euro for 5 courses, unbelievable value. Highly recommended!

Absolutely adore this restaurant...reminds me of Guilbauds although less formal. Food is to die for, cannot wait for my return in the coming weeks.

One of the finest restaurants I’ve been to. We were a group of 6 on a busy Saturday night and every single one of us had an excellent meal. We went for the tasting menu, I think that was all that was available. And as well as the excellent main courses we got so many little tasters, every mouthful was exquisite. I went for the lamb main which I would never normally choose but it was amazing, my husband went for the monkfish which he said was a little disappointing but all in all he still loved his meal. They could be a little more generous with the bread, we had to ask a few times for more, it’s freshly made so maybe they were worried about running out. The portions aren’t huge so you don’t come out feeling stuffed but you do feel like you’ve just experienced something special. Well worth a visit, 90 euro per person with a good lot of wine, not bad when you consider the price of tasting menus in comparable restaurants.

Went for Sunday brunch. I have a lot of dietary requirements and the facilitated me no problem. The food was incredible and the brunch menu is so well priced. Best brunch in Dublin for sure. I'll be back time and time again.

Had brunch here on a Sunday with another couple and it was super. The courses were perfectly sized and displayed a comprehensive array of cooking skills and flavours that justified the number of courses on a Sunday. Service was great. The wine and drink recommendations were perfect. Highly, highly recommend the Sunday brunch.

My first visit and I was really impressed with the service. Small selection but done well. We chose the residents menu which was €33 for 3 courses or €27 for 2 courses. There’s only a choice of two courses and following home cooked warm onion bread with a delicious crust accompanied by their own crème fresh we both went for the celeriac salad which comes with lots of flavours on the plate – duck pastrami, pear, ricotta cheese, glazed hazel nuts to name a few and was delicious. I had the cod with the mussels; potato and broccoli for main and my friend had the chicken with parsnip glaze and smoked potato and wanted to lick the plate. I had the cheese to finish – two cheeses, one strong and one with cranberry and creamier served with candied apple, apple puree, tiny pot of honey and thinly sliced fruit loaf. Service was excellent and the place was busy with a nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely return, want to try their tasting menu next.
