Often go to Eddies but wont be visiting this particular one again. Im a veggie and had asked for just a burger with no meat (salad bun), the lovely girl who took the order understood yet when another girl brought the food there was meat on the burger,I pointed out the mistake and it was brought back to the kitchen,on return i took a bite and to my disbelief, realise the greasy patty had just been lifted off the bun, leaving the lumps of fat and grease covering wilted lettuce. My partner complained and an incident report was completed but as far as im concerned it wasnt an unreasonable request, certainly wont be going back!

Went here with two friends from college. I had the veggie burger combo meal (you add on fries and a medium soda for €3). I thought this was quite reasonable, considering the whole eddie rockets/empty pockets stigma that the restaurant seems to have. Although my chips were OK, my veggie burger seemed to be burned to a crisp. Overall though I just felt very rushed... waitress almost made us run to the only free table kept on asking us "are you done?" even when we hadn't received our food! By the second I'd finished my food, I felt like I was being pushed out. After such a 'warming' welcome, I don't think I'll be back in a hurry!

I literally have not visited Eddie Rockets in ten years, because there are so many other dining options available and so many places for a burger. The American style diner theme annoys me a bit actually. But I wound up here for a family get together recently on a Sunday night, and I am kind of glad I stayed away so long. Steak sandwich with cheese was fine and I had a pint for €4. The service was patchy and I really hate it when the dishes aren't cleared away straight after eating. The waitress kept coming over to offer us a chocolate brownie on a stick that looked like a lollipop. The way the question was phrased it looked like it was a free sample, but you just know if you didnt realise that it wasnt and took it out of politeness it would end up on your bill. No freebies in Eddies and don't forget to tip....I certainly won't rush back.

Was very excited to hear the club sandwich was back!! Disappointed when I got it though! They don't serve it with coleslaw anymore and even though the menu says it's Nutty wholemeal bread it was just plain old brown sliced pan. I do love Eddie Rockets though and their combo meals are very good value!!

I used to love Eddie Rockets, especially their garlic mushrooms so when I heard months ago that the menu had changed and there were no mushrooms on it anymore, I was very disappointed. Anyway, 3 of us went for Sunday brunch and I was very very disappointed with my food, as were my friends also. One of them has been a few times and remembered it as being really good, but unfortunately, not anymore. I got the veggie burger which is completely tasteless and the half and half (half chips, half onion rings). The chips were salty and luke warm and the garlic mayo was horrible. I am sure I could get a similar taste off it that you get from goats cheese (which I detest). The onion rings were tasteless also. I didn't eat the mayo (which, by the way, used to be delicious), I ate half my chips and half my burger. It was similar for one of my friends, the other person finished theirs but thought it was just average. There was nothing wrong with the original menu or the quality or flavour of the original food, why did it have to change? I will not be going back to any Eddie Rockets after that experience.

I used to eat here every Sunday when it opened first. I hadn't been for years so I decided to give it a try. The service was extremely pleasant and all staff I encountered were very nice. The food was very tasty I had a smokestack burger with sweet potato fries my companion opting for a tex mex hot dog with cheese fries. The atmosphere was fine with a good selection of music playing in the background. My only problem with this branch was that the credit card machine was broken so please get it fixed for when I come back again.

With Eddie Rockets you know what you're getting. It's in a nice area of Dublin and the service is quick and attentive. They are still overpriced for what you get but they have a deal on where you can get fries and a drink for 3euro onto the price of a burger which is pretty good.

Good location, I have to pass it to get home after a night out and always seem to find myself going in there. It is tasty food but, as fast food outlets come, it is very overpriced. I love the chips though and you can tell the burgers are actually made from real minced meat!

Red Baskets, €6.50 for three chicken tenders and fries. I have seen childrens meals with more substance. The worst value for money I have ever seen, average tasting food. I won't be back.

Went here for lunch, okay but very much overpriced. Burger was lovely, chips were pickled with salt and way too expensive. Also they have a 'blue plate' special offer advertised but this wasn't available when I went in. Overall it's a grand spot when you're hungry for a burger but could be more competively priced.

went here for lunch today with a group of ten, had tried to reserve a table when we realised we'd be a big group but to no avail we had to wait 15 minutes which wasn't too bad because in that time they took our orders so when we did get a table our food was nearly ready... staff were very helpful and polite food was tasty as always... only issue was while we were waiting we had to stand at the door an felt in the way as the staff members had to constantly get us to move out of the way cause there was no where else for us to stand or sit. It is kinda expensive but its better when there is a few deals on... Will go again!!

Popped in here for a post-theatre meal. Club sandwich was big and tasty as were onion rings and chips. A bit expensive for a fast food restaurant but milkshakes are really good. What surprised me was that I think I saw a staff member wearing pyjamas or was that the uniform?

The best thing about Eddie rockets is you know exactly what you're going to get. No frills good food. Portions are huge, loads of flavour, busy buzzing atmosphere. Always a good place to end a days shopping!

Although I agree that eddie rockets is overpriced, I would not agree with bland or crap, although as I am not a big beef eater I might be missing something. The service was fine, the food was fine, the atmosphere was good. I love eddie rockets for a treat but I'd never go on an ordinary night out.
