Loved our meal, early evening special. Could not fault the service or the food. We even got a shot if Sambuca on the house. First visit to Dublin. It was recommended to us to try.

Myself and 5 colleagues had a Christmas night out in Diwali. We ordered from the Early Bird Menu-which offered something for all tastes. All our starters were delicious- particualry the onion bhaji. Then for the Mains. One vegetarian friend loved her 'paneer' dish. My lamb ledobebo was amazing. The chicken korma was excellent. Also the daal and chickpea side dishes were perfect. The garlic naan was the best I've ever tasted! The sauvignon blanc for €28.00 was crisp and refreshing, plus good value for city centre prices. Basically, I can't wait to go back for more! Thank you to all staff there. Their hospitality was second to none.

The place was thronged which added to the authenticity of the place. Despite the busyness the service was second to none and the food was simply excellent. Will definitely be back.

We were 3 adults. Good food. But the service could be improved. The waiter took the wrong order. We could feel that we were rushed along. We barely finished our plates that they were taken away. Finally, 2 mistakes in the bill. We will not come back

There were 3 of us booked for 7.30 seated at 8.15. They seemed to have trouble getting rid of inebriated early birders. Service was painfully slow and oily. Place was jammed solid with far too many tables. Had to stand several times to allow waiters access to other diners. Food was usual Christmas mush shoveled out to undiscerning drunks. My lamb biryani was chunks of tough and stringy meat packed into what looked like a sugar bowl with rice accompanied by an insipid sauce in a shallow metal dish which had earlier featured with chutney and chopped onion alongside the popodoms. Indeed there seemed to be a shortage of dishware as we had to ask for plates and cutlery early on. Our resident expert on Indian cuisine judged his chicken Jalfresi to be very ordinary and bland. The third member of our party has already submitted a rave review which shows there is no accounting for taste. Most places at Christmas just lash out any old rubbish to a captive audience so it is not a good time to review. I may return to see if Diwali can produce a decent meal but for no it must be a thumbs down.

I booked my table through Menupages for 3 people, 7.30 last Staurday. Diwali was jam packed due to christmas festivities, and we waiting patiently for 30 mins to be seated along with some free Cobra, nice touch! The food is fantastic, from the Onion Bhajis to the Chicken Tikka and Tandoori Chicken for starts. Mains consisted of Chicken Jalfrezi, a Garlic chilli Chicken masala and a Lamb Biryani, all really tasty and perfect portion sizes. The garlic Naan was delightful also. My only whinge would be the wine, however Im not sure I have ever been sure about wine and Indian food, I will stick with Beer instead. Staff were extremely pleasant and generous, I will be back and am looking forward to it already!
