First visit. Fabulous staff. We seated in older section beside a partition which didn't seem as nice as the section in the front door. Food lovely but piri piri prawns could have had more of a punch.

We visited without booking 3 of us. Got a late table, great steaks New York style, well cooked and good quality. 3time visit. Only criticism is of the sommelier who recommended a Saint-Emilion but it wasn't up to the standard he predicted. Otherwise very good & will return. The boss lady whom I previously met was off duty.

Went here last night on special this weekend only offer: 3 courses for €29. Normally €42. Had Calamari, New York Striplion and Cheesecake. All were great except the steak which is usually€27.50 on its own. Although cooked to order it was chewy and gristly. I suspect the were getting rid of scrag ends of meat by selling them off cheap. The wine list was adequate if limited and the Irish coffee to finish was fine. Service was friendly but slow. Unfortunately we were seated next to a table of ugly noisy Americans the women of which in particular brayed like donkeys. Perhaps a discreet word from the management to tone it down would have helped. Lesson: 1. Don't buy cheap steak 2. Avoid Americans.

Darwins is one of my favourite restaurants. Yet again at my visit this weekend the food was fantastic, steak was melt in the mouth, service was excellent. I haven't been in a while yet was greeted and recognised by our waiter who made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely night and it continues to be my favourite restaurant.

Food was lovely, portions weren't huge though. The soup was a small portion and no bread came with it. There was no bread at all on the table. Lovely decor and staff were very friendly.

1st time in Darwins. V impressed. Excellent service and attention. Went for the steaks (rib eye and fillet) and were very impressed. A little on the pricey side for us but it was a treat and a very good one at that. Would recommend.

We booked this restaurant to celebrate my partners 60th birthday on April 23rd 2016. They would not allow us to bring a cake and could not supply one. The food was terrible. Steak was very tough and not cooked properly -well done came almost raw. The salmon was cold as were most of the sides. They were every mean with pepper sauce, one small jug for a table of six. Deserts were tiny and they offered a brownie with a candle for the birthday cake-it was the size of a matchbox. They even charged for a baby bowl and then added 10% service charge. Very disappointing as it was my partners favourite restaurant, but never again !

2nd time in Darwins, was not disappointed. Early Bird with no supplement to steaks (except for Eye Fillet) my friend and I left the restaurant with full stomach and smile. Food, atmosphere & service were all impeccable. 2 2 course early birds with Malbec & 2 coffees the bill came at 90 euro, but every euro was worth it.
