Restaurant had no record of reservation even though it was booked on 2nd September. Having said that we were accommodated following production of menu pages booking and confirmation/reminder following some communication with reservations manager. A little embarrassing as it was a Christmas gift to invited guests. Suggest systems should be integrated as it does not appear to be the case.

We regularly go to Carluccio's as the food is good, not overly expensive and, a biggie of us, they are very child friendly. I usually order the same starter and main but this time I tried something different and had the steak for my main. Best steak I've ever had. Absolutely incredible. A deserved five stars for this devine eight ounces of bovine deliciousness.

First time eating here Sat night. Even though it was 9pm we were offered the set menu - €14.99 for 2 courses. Food was delicious and the waiter extremely friendly. Apparently all pasta and breads freshly made on the premises. Best lasagna I've eaten in a long time. Amazing food, amazing value and great service. Cannot wait to go back.

always a favourite for a lunch stop when in town . However this time I experienced an irritable & bad tempered front of house . She wouldn't let us queue as my partner wasn't with us (even though I explained that he was just putting bags into the car). We were not allowed take a table for 4 as the 4th person was not with me . May have been something to do with the fact that I had two small kids . Another staff member took pity on me with the kids and beckoned me to come upstairs when the manager's back was turned. Partner arrived within minutes . we waited a half hour to get served!!! what was all the fuss about?? Anyhow when eventually the food arrived , I cheered up because it was excellent , I would definitely go back as the food is so good and perhaps that girl was just having a bad day .

Went here for lunch with a friend. I had a mushroom soup that was gorgeous. The bread that came along with it was worth going back for. My only complaint was the plate of biscuits my friend had with her lunch. They tasted prepackaged. Neither of us were impressed.

We had a show booked in the Concert Hall but wanted a quick bite beforehand so Carluccio's was ideal as it was very close by. There is a good wide authentic Italian menu and lots of choice. Their garlic bread was so good we ordered more! Mains were lovely, pasta dish and risotto dish were very tasty. Service was excellent, efficient but not 'in your face'. Glasses of wine are fairly priced. As we were in somewhat of a hurry we hadn't time to have desserts or coffee but I will definitely return again. Next time I will get there earlier and sample more delights!

I ate lunch here on a busy Saturday, the place was buzzing but I had no problem to get a table. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I had a paste dish which was delicious but I was a bit disappointed with the starter of bruschetta. It was quite bland and not to my taste at all, the bread just tasted like dry toast and the tomatoes needed a lot more seasoning, however the wine, pinot grigio, was divine.

this is a busy eatery, which leads to a nice informal chatty atmosphere. The service seemed slightly chaotic but apart from my nibbles arriving with main no problems. I had lovely sea bass which was delicious and a taste of the tiramisu and panna cotta both very nice and limoncelo to finish it off
