As always, this place delivers. I think i have had one bad meal in about 6 years with this place. I was on my own as had a couple of hours to spare. I had the buffalo wings to start, and Ribs for mains.. The chicken wings were so so tasty, I wish I had got two portions. The ribs, although a little too strong for some reason were really nice as usual. Washed down with a Fanta, and I was a happy customer.

Four adults and one child went for lunch on a Saturday at 2pm. While all staff were friendly the service was terrible from start to finish, they weren't absolutely rushed off their feet so I'm not sure why. We ordered drinks and our meal, the meal arrived five minutes before the drinks, we had to ask for cutlery after our meal arrived, when it didn't arrive we had to find a member of staff as our food was going cold and we were unable to eat it! One member of our parties food didn't arrive and we had to find a member of staff to chase it up. No dessert menus were offered, we had to enquire three times about a childs ice cream and waited fifteen minutes for three coffees. We asked for the bill twice but gave up in the end and went to the till ourselves. Food really only ok, pricey for what it was unfortunately, found the service (or lack of) extremely frustrating so won't be returning.

Haven't been here in years. Very good. Thought the food served was the nicest of the various similar American theme outlets.

Ate here as we had a voucher from one of the deals pages. We brought out 2 young kids - 1 and 4. Neither of them could eat the food, the fish fingers were the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. It was very rushed and althogh the service was fine it just seemed very hassled. I had nachos and a burger. Neither were great. this is supposed to be a family friendly restaurant but I just don't get it. It's bad food in a cramped, rushed environment. I was glad we had a voucher because it's not cheap, we won't be back.

Had a lovely meal with my young family. The kids menu really is great value. And the provision of balloons by a clown was a nice touch!

Went to this restaurant for my daughters birthday. The food lacked taste and presentation. Food was pricey. What it says on the menu is not what you get!

All food delicious and arrived promptly. Good value kids meal. Main food a little pricey. Staff attentive and smiley. Didn't really mind the noise as it adds to the relaxed atmosphere. Good work guys!

I don't understand the negative reviews for Captain America's. Tracey our waitress has been serving us for 20 years, she is excellent at her job and really friendly. Portion sizes are massive! I don't think you need a starter as the mains are huge! Love this place and I will be back for more :)

We were seated quickly enough although we arrived without a booking after the panto on a Saturday evening and it was very busy. Once seated however things slowed down considerably, it was an hour later when we had just finished our starters. The starters were good I thought - we got a platter for our group of 3 adults, one 14 yo, one 12 yo and two children. I had a burger for my main course which was nice but the chips were slightly luke warm. A waiter asked if everything was alright but moved on so quickly I didn't have a chance to ask for mayo, luckily, and to their credit, another waiter checked in with us and I did get my mayo! MY partner had a steak which was 'very good, actully' and my sister had the chicken fajitas which were lovely, the salad with it was pretty ordinary. The small children liked the atmosphere and the pictures of Captain America himself. I enjoyed my mai tai's but we didn't stay for desert as everyone was fading fast. I know it was a busy time but even one extra person on the floor or producing food would have made this a more enjoyable experience.

Went here for a friends home coming . Place is exceptionally loud and lacking In charm. Got a seat under the stairs, which was right beside the kitchen. Got a cocktail, which was clearly pure juice, with little to no alcohol whatsoever. Food was poor , like a diner. Won't return certainly. Very much geared towards college students, which I am one myself, but dislike the place. Good value for money, but expect poor drinks, and noise. Waiter was charming and informal.

Seven of us here for birthday party, we booked well in advanced. When arrived we were seated in a tiny area under stairs. Food was awful, none of us enjoyed it. Place was very loud. Won't return again

We weren't expecting high-end healthy food in all fairness however it was worse than expected. Wine was 'plonk' but still €25 ... Both of our tummy's were not well after it at all. So much nicer places you can go too for similar type food. Will never return

Nice food and big portions! Amazing value for students Mon-Wed as they do €3 pints and cocktails. A favourite place of ours to go for dinner and drinks before a night out, atmosphere is always great on these nights especially!

Visited here on Saturday evening before a night out with friends, we were seated within 10 mins of arriving as promised & service was very quick. We both ordered starters (ribs & garlic mushrooms) I was a little disappointed in the portion size of garlic mushrooms for €6.95 I think there were 6 mushrooms on the plate with a few lettuce leaves while my husband was enjoying a half a rack of ribs for a similar price. That was my only issue with the meal though, the portion sizes for mains were very big we both got burgers, south western & veggie burger & they were huge & very tasty & the portion of chips with them were massive. You certainly wouldn't leave hungry. The cocktails looked delicious & will definitely try them next time i'm there, the daiquiri's in particular! Would definitely go back but next time i'll leave the starter & get a dessert instead, they looked fab.
