I am a regular and have been eating at Caffe Parigi several times a week for almost 2 years. The food is very tasty with a great selection and even a nice glass of wine. I visited today and have to say they must do something with the heat or temperature control. The last few times I have been there I felt the same way. I don't know if they have air conditioning but they should at least keep the door open to let some air in. The heat inside ruined the overall experience and I will think twice before going now over the summer months.

Restaurant response:
Firstly a huge thank you for the feedback. We were delighted to read that you liked our food, with the occasional glass of wine but very concerned to hear about your feeling that Caffe Parigi can sometimes be a bit too hot to handle. We do have air conditioning and will be reviewing with our staff why this was not switched on. Thank you so much once again for letting us know and please do come back and see us, even during the summer months, when we promise to have the door open out on to the river with a cool breeze blowing through.

The menu of this restaurant is quite good, especially since on this side of the river there are not a lot of choices for a working lunch even though there are so many offices in the area. The food is very tasty and the portions are very substantial. I do come here for lunch quite a lot as I work around the corner. My one problem with the restaurant is that some of the staff are regularly very rude. One waitress in particular is very abrupt and just today actually pushed my friend out of the way without a second glance. I'm starting to begrudge actually going there, although i do like the food, the waitress in particular tends to leave you with a sour taste.

Restaurant response:
Thank you so much for the feedback. Caffe Parigi prides itself on good client service and generally we get fantastic feedback about our staff. We were therefore horrified when we received your review back in June last year. We took immediate action and believe that the situation was resolved at the time. We can only sincerely apologise and hope you have been back and seen the changes since.

Had lunch by myself today to celebrate last day of August. Lovely penne pasta with pancetta and radicchio - really delicious and a very generous portion. Had also cheesecake and cappucino, both lovely. The decor of the place is very stylish and the tables and seats comfortable, I enjoyed the view out the window to the sailing ship on the quays. Service is friendly and efficient and the staff are all very pleasant. Price wise also quite reasonable. Gets very very busy at lunch time and a tad noisy, perhaps because this is a small place. Best to be very early if you want to get here for lunch. For the food, decor and excellent service highly recommended.

Best value in town, especially given it's south of the Liffey.Great range, excellent value panini and coffee. Will survive any recession if it keeps this value up!

This place is fantastic. Lovely pasta, salads, desserts and coffee. Staff are really friendly and must be some of the best value in Dublin. A great example of how to trade through the recession - solid tasty food at very reasonable prices - and the place is always packed.

I can't get over this place! The prices are unbelievably good. The portions are excellent, the food is good solid Italian pastas and salads. You can half size desserts for around €1.50 and they do possibly the best tiramisu in Dublin. YUM! Staff are very friendly if maybe a little overwhelmed at times. It can be a bit chaotic at lunch time as it is a very popular place so try going earlier to avoid queuing, although wait time for a table for 2/3 tends to be no more than 10 minutes I've found. It is a most welcome addition to the south quays' lunchtime destinations.

I've been here at least once a week since it opened and it's great. Lovely interiors, fabulous food (coffee is great!) and best of all it's reasonably priced.
