Kale salad was a bit greasy, hake was beautiful and dessert was lovely. Portions a bit small, but great value for money overall

The first time we dined here, we were asked to go for a drink and come back 1/ hour later. We then had to wait 2hours to be served. In fairness, the staff/manager were very sorry and kept replenishing us with free wine! (which softened the blow). The food was really tasty so we decided to give them a 2nd chance. We ate there again on 31/03. We were asked to come back again 1/2 hour later which we did.We were then served almost immediately. The ambiance is great, it's done up in the style of a butcher shop's interior, and has a warm chatty atmosphere. THe food again was really good and YES - we are going back. Incredibly good value at 40 Euros for 4 courses X 2 and a glass of wine!

Four of us dined on Saturday evening and enjoyed a lovely four course meal with vouchers from the.taste,ie. Service was very good, however just a couple of negatives to report so that the restaurant can improve their service. Our White wine was not chilled, in fact it was warm. We had to ask for more ice so that it could be chilled which was eventually done. Also within minutes of our coffee being served to our tale we were asked by our Waiter to finish up as our table was needed for the next customer. We knew we had to vacate the table by about 8 p m. but should have been approached and given about 10 minutes notice to finish up our meal without finishing it in a rush. Otherwise a good night.

We had a voucher and it really was good value, 3 course for 2 and a bottle of wine. But there were disappointments. I order the Kale and Avocado salad in Lemon dressing. The avocado was like a rock and the dressing was quite tart so needed additional oil. The rump steak was perfectly cooked BUT the taste of charred coal was quite overwhelming even after dunking in the nice pepper sauce. Such a pity. On a positive note the wings were very nice and my friend had the Gourmet Burger and had not complaints. Finished off with nice Sundae dessert. Wasn't perfect but was good value. Oh and I wish they would turn down the lighting...its quite bright for a dinner ambiance.

Bought voucher from taste, very good value. Only negative is that tables are too close together, but overall a nice place to eat. Would return.

Had a voucher for 3 course for 40 quid good value but limited menu to choose from. Wings were good the chrizo bread in the cheese sauce was nice but a bit heavy for a starter. One of the two steaks were overdone we asked for both medium but one was well over and quite dry. The creme brulee was nice the chocolate mousse was nothing special. The seating in the restuarant to say it was warm was an understatement these open kitchens not a fan but the service was friendly and efficent. Overall solid but wouldn't be rushing back

Two of us had a beautiful 3 Course Meal with a bottle of house Red (lovely). Service was great only fault I could find is that tables are too close together, almost felt like the couples on each side were talking to us.

We had a 3 course meal voucher and went in with the kids early evening. It was lovely and quiet. Service was great till our waiter went on his break and then it took ages to get anyone's attention to take our main dishes and order desserts. The food was great though so we would go back again, with another voucher.

Was there a bit early for a Saturday evening so there was not much atmosphere. I've been here for lunch many times. The food is good, the staff are pleasant and I've always enjoyed it

Went for an early bird with my family. Nice starters. Then for the main course 4 took a steak and one took the burger. One of the steaks was not up to scratch. They were very apologetic and replaced it without any fuss. The second one was DELICIOUS. This restaurant does what is says on the tin. I would return.

We used a groupon from the Taste - 3 course meal for 2 with a bottle of wine for €50 unbelievably good value. The food was delicious, apart from a disappointing pepper sauce for a steak, the service was friendly without being overly so. We were very happy with our choice.

We came here on a Friday, so I kind of expected the place to be very busy and that we might be rushed a bit to free up the table, but this wasn't the case at all. The staff were so kind in going through the menu with us and making recommendations, and they gave us all the time we needed to order and chill out after we were finished too. The wine recommended complimented my steak perfectly (steak was cooked to perfection). The deserts were amazing; I had the Salted Caramel, Honeycomb & Pecan Sundae and the only problem was that it ended! I would definitely go back again.

Had an excellent early bird meal in Beeftro on a Saturday recently. We walked in off the street, the staff were friendly and gave us a lovely table by the window. There wasn't much of an atmosphere but mainly because it was late afternoon and the evening trade hadn't yet come in. I thought the food was excellent, we were quite surprised by the size of the portions given the early bird menu. All three of us had the burger and the quality of the meat was excellent, you could really taste it. Would highly recommend the sweet potato fries!!
