Aussie BBQ is one of the safe havens used amongst my group of friends when we're indecisive about where to eat. The food is excellent, well priced and service is great. Last Sunday I got my usual meat board with pulled pork, which is a safe and tasty platter of tender chicken, well cooked beef and delicious slow roasted pulled pork bathed in apple relish. Instead of my usual sweet potato fries, I opted to try their new bacon pulled pork fries and was pleasantly surprised. They're seriously tasty, and the portion is huge for less than six euro. There are lots of new additions to the menu which is great to see. My only complaint is the awful 'funky house' music that was blaring throughout the restaurant. Please turn it down or put on something a little more suitable!

Firstly I visited their restaurant in Tallaght which is not added yet. What a let down of a BBQ joint. No music or any atmosphere. Had to wait ages to have our order taken. Table was filthy and food lodged in between lats of wood on the table. I was shocked that there was no smell of BBQ at all for the entire time we were there and food didn't taste like it was BBQ'd at all and tasted as if it was cooked in an oven. The chicken wings were tiny and so so tough they felt like leather. the food was freezing for both myself and my wife and I wouldn't have minded but the place was nearly empty. A really bad experience and will never set foot inside again. Very badly ran and managed

Visited on my lunch break, although it was busy and space was somewhat limited we were seated quick enough and our orders taken promptly. Food was served fast and tasted delicious! The Queensland burger was amazing, so well done and the chips were gorgeous. Very filling, I had no room for dessert and super cheap. Will definitely visit again!

Ordered what I thought was going to be a nice meal tonight. And as it was coming from a restaurant instead of a takeaway I presumed it was going to be of good quality.nThe "Bonzer" BBQ Wings were anything but. Hard and tasteless. The Tasmanian Tenders looked and tasted like they were left out in the Tasmanian heat for a couple of days. Dry and without the garlic dip which was supposed to accompany them. The main was the Surf & Turf Pulled Pork. Sounds lovely right? But what arrived was a sausage instead of the pulled pork. Ironically the sausage was the only good thing. Seriously good sausage, I'll give you that. But the Salmon.... Burnt skin, not BBQ'd, burnt and dryed out. And burger was so cremated I didn't know whether to eat it or say a prayer and spread it's ashes somewhere. So after waiting an hour, that is what we got for our money. I did call and explained but I was told that "the machine" said the "Sausage Surf & Turf" was ordered . See picture! I was also told "the Salmon is always cooked that way". Well if your cooking for someone with paralyzed taste buds then keep it going.... nSo after all that the response I got was "Sorry about that, enjoy your evening". Poor display lads and equally poor response. I hope Groupon are doing a special on Cookery and Customer Service classes lads, as they are much needed. Sorry Aussie BBQ, I will enjoy the rest of my evening but not for the food.n

Some people might think I didn't actually bother reading the categories seen as I've left it at 5 stars for everything but I did and I genuinely had a great experience there, even my 2.5 year old son loved it. The food was delicious and the waitress couldn't have been any nicer if she tried. The service was quick and efficient and the whole place was clean (including the toilets) I love popping in here if we're in the area. Actually writing this is making me remember the food and now I want some food :-(

had been wanting to try aussie bbq for quite a while after seeing the menu online. Arrived on a thursday night, was packed which is a good sign, seats were taken so we were given a number and waited. We were given a nice seating area by a pleasant member of staff. Service was quick, we ordered oreo milkshake and a beer both very nice and reasonably priced, good selection of beers particularly one or two really good quality craft beers stocking brewdog and irish. We went for burgers both cooked what seemed medium-well, good size and we enjoyed them, also had wings, plenty of them and decent sauce, bbq. We were happy with everything till then, unfortunately we had a very bad experience with the post meal service, on returning from the bathroom to the seat where my gf still was, my beer and my gfs oreo milkshake had been taken away without asking, quickly, which were most definitely not finished, I called the young man over to just point this out, instead of being apologetic, he claimed the milkshake was empty but acknowledged the beer had some it.. why take it then!!? he offered to bring us two new ones but I was now ready to leave, they should have been discounted from the bill which they weren´t. Upon leaving other staff were very polite and thankful and they asked was everything ok and would we be returning etc and I said I wasnt sure, but I was not in the humour to relay this information again. Also upon paying my bill, which you go to the cashier yourself, which is back out the front of the restaurant at the take away area I had to que to pay my bill and wait while others were served from the take away bar?? surely there should be separate areas I was so close to walking out. So for the sake of those two occurences the chances of me returning are slim, as a result of one bad apple and a lack of organisation.

First went to the Aussie BBQ while walking home from a night out, it was a choice between eating here and getting a taxi home. Best decision of my life, it never disappoints and is still possibly the best burger I have ever tried. I have only ever stuck with what I know and love, the great white burger, I did try there wings once and only once, they aren't great at all.

I could have only ever dreamed of a place like this opening up in Dublin! I have only been once so far. It is phenomenal! Great menu selection, amazing atmosphere, this Aussie style restaurant that puts the 'Summer Bay Diner' to shame! There is a bit of a wait if you want to get a table on the weekends but never fear, you can just get a beer while you wait! And it is really worth the wait. I was really impressed with the prices too, especially the aussie beer prices! I ordered the beast box, which I would recommend to any first time visitors because there is a good selection of meats to try. Next time I go I know I am going to try a burger because that was my favourite thing from the beast box! However it is very hard to go past the kangaroo as that is also delicious! The staff are super friendly and cope really well under pressure, having to deal with long queues! I cannot stop talking about this place to all of my friends and colleagues, I can't wait to go back. Ramsey street don’t have a thing on this place!

Went in here randomly for lunch and it was bloody beautiful. Great juicy delish burger. It was really good value. Very chilled atmosphere. The sauces on the table were really tasty. My mates chicken wings were pretty nice, but were a little on the small side. All in all, a great spot, I'll be back for the big burger! (Staff really friendly too)

Great place to eat. Only issues was that they said they do not take reservations but the deal we bought through menupages insisted on reserving. We had to sit around despite having a printed reservation confirmation. I have to say the staff were first class tho.
