Really bad. My girlfriend is vegetarian and she specifically asked if the tofu dish she was ordering had no meat in it. She was told there was none. When it arrived it had loads of "blood pudding" (black pudding) in it. The waitress asked if she ate black pudding, my girlfriend replied no, so the waitress took the plate away and scraped out the black pudding. Then she brought it back, but she had missed a big piece right in the middle. So then we asked if she could order something else, and the waitress came back with the same dish with the last piece of pudding removed. We asked again could she choose another dish. She ended up getting noodles which were really greasy. I had lamb chinese style. It was ok, a bit gristly and also pretty greasy. THERE'S MORE: No napkins on our table (boxes of tissue on some tables), a plate so dirty we could scrape it off with our fingernail, all plates cold, food didn't arrive at the same time. Also we expected to be getting the early bird offer since we arrived an hour before it was supposed to end, but we were told not. No reason was given.

This is the first review I have left in years (I think 2nd ever)!! I had to dig out my password just to review this place because I absolutely LOVE it. Once you look beyond the not-so-shiny but perfectly clean decor you see it is a gem. A real authentic foodie haven. Food is very authentic and unbelievably cheap. Normally we will go here with friends and eat for hours until we can't eat another bite. Never expect to pay more than 25 MAX per person even if you go all out. Beers are 3 quid (2 during lunch time!). A WHOLE seabass is about 8 quid (in ginger & onions, highly recommend)!! Also recommend the steamed pork dumplings, deep fried tofu and fried aubergine. The only thing I would advise against is ordering anything even mildly spicy as the chef is a little chilli mad. The rest of the mild authentic food is too good to mark them down for this though. Friendly honest "real people" staff. Family run establishment. Lots of local Chinese people eat here too - always a good sign!

Went to this place for an early bird, starter, mains and tea for €10. Fantastic value. Food was good, Im not the biggest fan of chinese food, but I think this place was better than most. Service was excellent and staff very friendly.

Popped in here whilst in town on St. Patrick's Day - and discovered a little gem of a restaurant. Menu was excellent and offered lots of choice. Food was delicious and portions rather large. Service was quick and efficient and overall the price was very competitive compared to other restaurants around town. It's well worth a visit for Chinese food fans.

I am a regular customer here. I am not an expert of Chinese cuisine, but in this restaurant you won't find so much of the deepfried and sweet and sour you normally find in Cantonese restaurants. Huge variety of courses and ingredients; friendly, very attentive and helpful staff and good atmosphere. Prices are also very reasonable and portions quite generous. So far I have never been disappointed.

This restaurant is a must for Chinese food fans. It's small and cosy and the food is just fabulous. Atmosphere was lacking as it was late afternoon, but would imagine it was buzzing much later on in the evening. One very good sign in any Chinese restaurant is to see the number of Chinese families eating there. Service was excellent, non-intrusive and water glasses were topped up constantly. Portions are huge, so make sure you go with a good appetite! Two courses and bottle of wine set us back €50 - that will be hard to beat anywhere. There was 10% off yesterday because it was St. Patrick's Day, but even with 10% added, it still would have been excellent value. Will definitely go back. Only have two negative aspects to report - the first is very important for prospective diners - BRING CASH as they don't take credit cards here! The second is the tables - your plate is actually on a sheet of glass and the table cloth is under the glass - made it feel and look like a canteen, which is a shame as this is a charming little place. Any chance they might remove the glass? It's easy enough to launder table cloths and my dinner guest said there was a washing machine downstairs in the gents.

This place is absolutely fabulous, proper authentic Chinese food. The twice cooked pork is amazing and the more typical Chinese dishes that you would find here are pretty fabulous as well, the duck in black bean sauce is gorgeous and could feed 2 people. I didn't realise black beans were supposed to have a flavour until we ate here! Such good value as well, beers for €3.50, mains for €8 - €10 (and a bit more for more exotic sea food), heaps and heaps of choice and everything I've tried so far has been delicious. The only thing I'd say is to listen to the waitress if she tries to tell you that something is very spicy. I love hot food, the hotter the better, but their stewed pork belly with chinese cabbage made me lose my voice there was so much chili in it. A fistful of dried chilis on top and a red sauce made primarily of chilis. Twas pretty tasty but jaysus, I've never experienced anything quite like it!
