Don't bother with the pizza, nothing like an Italian style pizza. The starter Bruschetta was nice, a bit too much garlic for my liking, but it was ok. I had pizza for main, big dissapointment, it was too doughy not crispy and thin like it should be. My friend had pasta, she said it was nice but I think she was being nice about it. I'd say it was fine but nothing special. On the whole good value for what you pay but it's not the best Italian in Dublin just yet. Service was very good.

I spent a lovely afternoon on a wet Saturday in Dublin having lunch with a friend in The Italian Connection. Food was excellent, service was wonderful and the Special Lunch Menu was fantastic at €9.95 for a Starter and Mains. The ambience was perfect and e will both be taking a trip back there soon.

First time to try this one as I passed by many times but never curious enough to go in. So the seating is basic enough but comfortable. the door was left open and when I complained about the wind they said that they needed it left open because of cooking fumes. I ordered Crostini with cheese and parma ham topping to start and lamb cutlets with rosmary It was fabulous. Wife had Crostini and lasagne which was nice also. Service was swift but you don't get a dedicated server. The restaurant is now on my list to return and I recommend a visit

Lovely little restaurant but the seating is very much on top of each other. We arrived at about 16.30pm and a half an hour too early for the early bird menu, There was just one girl serving and you could see she was under pressure. People left the restaurant as they got fed up waiting on there order to be taken. The food itself was lovely and would go back here again.

Had a gorgeous meal in the Italian connection last Saturday. Two courses for 9.99 on the early bird menu. Minestrone soup and bruscetta were our starters and both had pasta dishes for main course. The meatballs with spaghetti were particularly good. We will definitely be returning!

Fantastic food for a great price. Proper Italian food like you actually get in Italy! Delicious, unpretentious and wholesome. The service is well meaning and genuine which, in my mind, beats polished and aloof anyday. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Once again an enjoyable experience. We had only 1.5 hours to spare for dinner and my friend had never been here. He was delighted with the atmosphere, variety of the menu, service and value for money. He will recommend the restaurant to all his friends!
