The Black Sheep As Always brilliant in every way. However the 108 in Rathgar which i think is one of your group and i could not find a menu page listing needs your expertise and serious attention on all fronts. Ie Friendliness, food, staff, jacks filthy. I certainly wont be back for some time. Send up someone to show them how to excel

In here last night to get some food before cinema got some nachos not the best a massive mound of them portion size good but a drizzle of bottled guacamole sauce, sour cream and hot sauce was expected the real stuff and more of it. As soon as I ate the top of the tortilla chips half of the rest was left with nothing. I didnt mind too much as the chips were lovely. My friend asked for more topping and they gave it to her and didnt charge for her meal which was nice my other friend had the burger which was yummy. So all and all quick friendly service nice touch on the free nachos but would prefer the real toppings and more of it on the tortilla chips

The hamburger was great. Disappointed that there was no Guinness draft.

I have to say as a bit of a foodie that this was the worst meal I have ever had in my life. The waiter had absolutely no idea of the menu.. We asked what the fish of the day was and he said.. fish like... cod like.. We then asked about the burger which he said that everything was 'mashed together in the kitchen'... nice. He had no idea what he was talking about and couldn't answer any questions we had about the menu. I order the chicken masala.. which consisted of pieces of battery chicken in squares... in a sauce with a very watery consistency. It was AWFUL. It was the quickest meal.. we were in and out in about minutes (including waiting time) When paying he asked me was everything OK which I said No, it was rotten and the chicken was plastic .. he shrugged his shoulders and said 'well did you like the beer'.. enough said. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I'd the 2 course deal here, and had a starter of chilli prawns, they were really good. I'd fish & chips as a main, cos it goes well with IPA beer. The fish was fine, but the chips were great. The mushy peas were good, as was the tartar sauce. Service was a bit slow, despite it not being busy, but was friendly.

Food has been going consistently downhill in the last few months, to the extent that my chicken wings had no sauce whatsoever and the quality was poor - they had that fishy taste of a frier where the oil is never changed. When I pushed the plate aside in disgust the staff member took the full bowl away without asking if it was alright or not, a sure sign of a place that doesn't care any more.nnGood beer though, and will still have a few pints there. Can't see myself eating there again though.

Had a lovely lunch and a beer here with a friend. The lunch menu was very reasonable and they have an interesting variety of beer on offer. The food was very good, service was fine. The atmosphere is lively, I would recommend this place for a bite to eat with friends.
