Arrived here this morning, chancing our arm for a breakfast and boy were we in for a treat. Just exactly what we were looking for a Full Irish Breakfast Old School. It is so very hard these days to find a proper irish breakfast. The service was quick, friendly and efficient. It was great value for money and cheaper than most places in the city center.. Will absolutely 100% be returning when i am back in town looking around even if its just for lunch. would recommend to anyone. the Food is not to disappoint and neither is the service and friendliness of the pub. A real feel of home.. Thank you for the great start to my Birthday :)

Had lunch here today. Massive sandwich with roast pork from the carvery and as many salad fillings as you want for €6. Tasty, filling and well priced. Service very friendly & efficient. Will be back

I've been in to watch football on many weekends at this stage and have sampled a fre things from the menu, The food is always top notch for pub grub and the half chicken is a favourite of mine, it comes with beautiful home made gravy which is excellent. Its very reasonable price wise with the chicken being one of the most expensive at approx €14-15. I will no doubt sample something else again this weekend!

Work booked here for our Christmas party and i was so worried after checking out the reviews on this page! Was very happily surprised! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely selection of wines. Don't think I'd go back for the food but definitely for a cozy drink with friends

dropped in here for 1st time ,in company with 2 friends friday, and most definitely will not be making a return visit. ordered food as follows, mixed grill, chicken wings and club sandwhich. mixed grill came with what looked like meat/steak which had been undercooked in deep fat fryer, most unpleasant. the chicken wings looked like something that was bought in lidl and tasted even worse, and to add insult to injury came with 2 less on the plate than was stated on the menu.the club sandwhich passed the test, just. how such food? can be passed off in this day and age amazes me and none of us will ever pass through the doors of this establishment again.

Love this pub. Great atmosphere. Brilliant for the matches with that gigantic HD TV. A good date venue with candles or a pint with the lads. Nice pints but EXPENSIVE! 2 of the staff are very rude though. Never smile, never say thank you, greeted with a grunt, everytime.

I really like this pub, it shows sports if you are into that kind of thing but is also easy to just head upstairs and relax without it being too in your face. The food is simple but nice and the portions are large. Good for a drop in on a Saturday or Sunday if you just want somewhere to rest your legs!

Was here yesterday with a few friends. I really enjoyed the "Irish" atmosphere of the place. The staff is friendly, the food is good (but not exceptional) and prices are reasonable. If you are looking for a relaxing night out in a pub where you don't have to shout to be heard over the loud "background" music, this is the place to go.
