About 2 years ago I posted a review about this Restaurant, and at that time I gave it 5 stars on everything. My views on Romano's remains at 5 stars across the board, and his Pizza's are still fantastic. Now he has had the toilets renovated, and although they are on the small side, they are spotlessly clean. WELL DONE ON ALL COUNTS

Food looked and taste frozen, supposed to be "authentic" Italian food, waiter says quite ignorant literally threw the cutlery at me when I asked for clean cutlery.

The early bird is excellent value. Bruschetta is the nicest I've tasted. Pizza great. Definitely coming back.

My partner and I were really tired from wondering around looking for somewhere to have lunch when we passed the lunch board for this restaurant. It was cheap so we didn't expect a lot but we were so tired we went in any way. It ended up being our favourite meal of our little Dublin break. The food was amazing and it was clear it was a family run restaurant with great home made food. When we got the bill we were shocked that the food we ate had come to $19 for two, eating a 2 course meal each. It was our last day in Dublin but if we had been there longer we 100% would have gone back! I'm sending my brother there when he goes to Dublin with his girlfriend.

I just notice the last review and it is a coincidence that I dined there at the same time, I have always found this to be a great place for quality food at a very reasonable price. The lunch menus are as follows €9.50 for starter/main course, and tea or coffee. €7.95 for main course, and tea and coffee, if you require a soft drink, beer , or wine that's an extra charge. I would suggest to the last reviewer, that if you have a doubt about what you get for your money you ask, and don't complain when it is too late

Food at lunch time was okay, make sure when you ask for cheese tell the waitress how much you want it, otherwise it will be a very big spoonful. And be aware of the menu, which does not say what is included in lunch, but the board outside says the lunch special is 3 course. So if you have starter and main it is still 9.50. The menu is deliberately done this way to con people out for lousy 2 euro. I will never go back there again.

This is my favourite Italian restaurant in city centre, Tried different Italian before, this is still the best. Its informal, you can go in not thinking what you have to wear, they don't judge you on how you speak. Good value lunches and great dinner. Tried nearly all the dishes at this stage, I have to say I never have any complains everything is always perfect. If you are looking for good food and informal date this is for you.

Recommended by a colleague so decided to give it a try. The service was good but could have been a bit more friendly and I had to wait to order another drink which annoyed me. The food was very tasty and piping hot. Overall atmosphere individual and nice. I would both recommend and return here.

I have dined here several times, and have always found the food to be excellent, ( the pizzas are equal to if not better than any that I have had in Italy ) The staff are very attentive and very informative of the food that is available. The owner is also very helpful, and will be glad to have a chat with you. Would highly recommend this restaurant not only for service and quality food, but also for GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY.

Fantastic early bird menu. We had bruschetta and prawn cocktail, while nothing fancy, they were fine dishes, The main attractions here though are the pizza, beautiful thin crust, generous toppings, and the homemade pasta. The bolognaise sauce is delicious. Deserts and coffee were included in the 14.95 price. Service is very prompt. Ideal if you are heading to an event. Have also eaten lunch here several times and the quality is always high. Terrific value and great food.

This is a review of Menupages. I never received online confirmation of my booking so in the end I made a direct phone booking to Romano's as I have always done in the past - not a lot of point in trying to book through Menupages.

I went to romanos after seeing all the rave reviews- I dont think I was ever so diasppointed with a restaurant. I got the lasagna which was quite clearly microwaved and was more cheese sauce than pasta and meat, my partner had bolognese which was also drowned in cheese, never again
