I was invited to this restaurant as part of a work event but hadn't heard of it before then. I would definitely return on my own steam. Even though I wasn't paying the menu has great prices. I was there for lunch/pre-theatre menu. Delicious bread and spreads were brought to the table first along with tap water. I had the trout for starters which was so good and I devoured it. I had the guinea fowl for mains, really good juicy flavour. Served with sides of green beans, miniature carrots and french fries (all so very well seasoned and tasty). Would recommend ordering sides as the dishes are quite small. The deserts are all in the theme of classic ice creams (ice berger, super split, bounty). As I love coconut I went for the bounty one, very gorgeous indeed. All served with very good house red wine. Staff and service were excellent. My only gripe was with the Americano served...it wasn't good at all, very bitter indeed. That aside I am looking forward to returning.

This is such a 'treat' restaurant. The food is simply fantastic. The menu is very small, and I'm limited in what meat I eat so tend to eat a lot of vegetarian. While they dont push their vegetarian menu they do have a separate vegetarian menu on request. I can honestly say I have never, ever tasted cauliflower as delicious in my life. How they can make a plate of cauliflower taste so delicious, and serve it in such a variety of ways is simply unreal. And as for their desserts - probably the best choice of amazing desserts in any restaurant. I've tried a few. They are based on older chocolate/ice creams e.g. Bounty, Brunch, Super Split. You HAVE to save room, you really wont be disappointed. I never even mentioned their snacks and starters, all great, I cant tell you how good their Devil eggs are. And as for you carnivores, himself has sampled quite a few of their dishes and declared all fantastic. My only downside is the room itself - it always seems a little cold, I think it's the tiles on the floor, not that I'm sitting there cold! I really would recommend this restaurant to everyone, it is one of those gems you have to try.

This restaurant wasn't for me. I didn't like the food and they had very little choice. The main course was nice. I didn't like how the house wine seemed to be on tap, you can never be to sure what sort of wine your actually getting. For me, this was not a nice experience and I will not be back.
