Was arrived at this coffee shop at 5:40 with some friends for a little chill after work. when we walked in we ask what time did they close at and she said 7:30pm then we decided to stay. after 30 seconds sitting down then the waitress walked over to us wanted to place an order but we didnt even read the menu properly so fine I decided to have a scone and a tea and my friend wanted to have a smoothie but there was no drink list on the table so my friend asked nicely to have a drink menu. the waitress was extremely rude standing beside the table and pushing my friend place her order by clicking the bottom of a pen showing that she is really busy but there are only 2 tables including us. The tea, smoothie and the scone are above average we got what we paid for so no complains for that. 10 mins later at about 6:40pm my friend wanted to use the bathroom and the waitress said the toilet was close and shouted to her and said I TOLD YOU WE ARE CLOSE AT 7:30PM. So just to be clear the time I needed to show her my phone for the time then she just walked away and say nothing to us then we heard that she smashed few glasses on the sink for the act of ragging. was so rude and unprofessional. This coffee shop we used to come very often but since then we will not go there again and would not recommend to anyone.

Went there with my friend last friday eve, at around 5pm. There were only other 3 couples inside, not very busy. It took more than 20min to get a piece of cake out for my friend.. (Other patrons were already drinking and eating). At least she liked the carrot cake. I simply ordered a coke and glass of water for myself as was reallly thirsty.. (And told the waitress so). There was one waitress behind the bar, the one taking our order... She didnt bring out my drinks but sat on a chair facing the wall doing some calculations etc. after more than 10min i asked for at least my glass of water...then my coke and the cake and cappuccino from my friend followed. To be noted that no one else made any orders in that laps of time. So, to me service was really bad. Will not return.

This place is an absolute gem. Its quite small and the menu isnt massive but that being said there is a good selection and something to suit everyone. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly. The decor is quaint. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.. The steak ciabatta is particularly nice. Definitely worth a visit!!!
