I visit this cafe quite frequently and really enjoy it each time I do. It's a real diamond in the rough, in that it's a really quaint, friendly establishment at the end of Talbot street. Located under the DART bridge its a real hidden gem in an area that 'full of character'. The decor is really minimalist pristine white, with huge windows so loads of natural sunlight. The food is really good but you have to get in early because it sells out really quickly, get there past 2 and all you'll be having is a coffee! They do scrambled eggs and sausages to order, freshly baked scones, banana bread (a lot of G.F, D.F and vegan baked goods too). For lunch then they do a different soup daily, lots of different sandwiches (the three cheese toasty is everything!) and three different salads. You can eat in or takeaway, I normally go for the salad plate and they are always really tasty and reasonably good for you. The coffee is like rocket fuel (in a good way!) and the staff are all really well trained baristas and always take care to make your coffee how you like. I just can't recommend the place more, for a quick service outlet on Talbot street it runs rings around anywhere else in the area and in my opinion is seriously under-rated. If you're ever in the area I would highly recommend that you pop in if for nothing more than a coffee (and a scone, they're huge!)
