Just had lunch here for the first time today. I opted for the sushi bento which I think is a steal at just under 12e (that includes miso soup). My partner had the vegi bento which was 9.50.. Both dishes were excellent, great portions also. I'm on a bit of a 'sushi mission' across dublin at the moment to find my favourite sushi diner and so far this place tops the list. I can't wait to go back to give the evening menu a go.

Service and lack of friendliness let my experience down but lovely presentation on a raised plate. A smile goes a long way. Would return though as nice little place.

Had a lunch there with a friend. Food was lovely. the atmosphere was a bit bland and the waitress wasn't really responsive to our questions. But....would go back for the food.

Popped in for a late lunch, was keen to try as reviews seemed good but everything was a bit average. Bento box was not up to much, sounded much better in menu description. A reconstituted breadcrumbed chicken finger wasn't what I had in mind. The buttered prawns were good though. I ordered some tuna sashimi to liven it up a bit but it was small and dry. I'll be back to the best Japanese restaurant in Ireland next time 5 mins away - Yamamouri. It's in a different league.

Went here for dinner with my cousin, just wanted to test the place. Such a nice little place, hard to believe it is right on O'Connell street. Staff was really friendly and welcoming. They didn't even laugh when they saw my cousing fiddle with the chopsticks and they offered to bring us forks and gave us cute "kids" chopsticks to train with. We both had rainbow sushi and it was really tasty. We will definitely go back!

A friend and I went to Fujiyama after some bad sushi elsewhere the same day and were not disappointed. The place is nice and quiet, on the second floor of a building in Connell St. The waiters are nice and polite. The owner even came to us to apologize for the time the chef took to make our sushi (less than 10 minutes!!) and offer us a miso soup. Everything was great, fresh and appetizing.

Went here for lunch with a friend, such a peaceful little place, hard to believe it is right on O'Connell street. Bright, airy, clean and friendly staff. I had a bento box and it was really tasty, good size portions too! Will definitely be back.

I recently ate at Fujiyama and having lived in Japan for a while I have to saw that the food was very authentic. I had the gyonza which was delicious and the service was good. The only thing that let them down was the Chicken Teppanyaki bento box (unfortunately the chicken was very dry and not fresh) Otherwise thumbs up!
