Two main courses & two minerals for 24Eur is not a lot to pay & it was nice. However, despite a clean restaurant & toilets, the service was so poor, that I think this business does not care any more. Sad to see when chef is producing nice food.

Ate here recently not on any recommendation, just wandered in off the street. It was quiet, and we ordered sizzling seafood and fried prawns. I was told the sizzling seafood was the most popular seafood dish on the menu which was why I ordered it. One thing I felt was excessive was the price of the boiled rice to accompany the dish, anything more flavoursome more expensive still. The seafood was good, all frozen though so a little bland and with that chewy texture. It did come out sizzling and the rice was brought on a separate plate. When I enquired about a plate to eat from, the waitress pointed at my side plate and said 'Use that'. We were served by two different staff, even though it wasn't busy. A request for soya sauce was met with disapproval, although it did eventually come. Maybe they were having a bad day, but we got the distinct impression we were a nuisance, as all the staff were sitting together at the back, so maybe they were on some kind of group break. Felt it was a bit pricy for average food and poor service. Won't be rushing back too soon

I was recommanded my one friend said that this was a great Chinese restaurant in Dublin. So I went there with three friends. We ordered five main cources without starters because we all wanted to experience the real Chinese dishes. And we ordered a big portion of steamed rice to go with the dishes. The food was OK but not as good as that friend said. And service was just like you must ask two or three times to get a glass of water. So we felt not comfortable with that. When we got the bill finally, it seems too expensive for E7 just that portion of rice. I will choose another one when I decide to get a dinner at Parnell st. next time.

Ate in Fortuna for the first time last week. I often eat in the Chinese restaurants on Parnell Street, but hadn't tried this place before. It was Thursday night it was the only busy restaurant on the strip, and it was full with Chinese people, which is always a good sign. The service was friendly and attentive. It's a Sichaun restaurant, so the food was more spicey than usual, which was good. Spicy fried pork packed a punch. Spicy razor shell clams used fresh chillies and were more gentle in flavour. The clams were a bit chewy, but the taste was good. Home style tofu with vegetables was tasty but the sauce was a bit gloopy and a bit too much MSG. Beers were cold and the accompanying rice and noodles were hot and not too oily. A nice place, very reasonably priced with lots of special offers. The loos weren't great, but I've come to expect that in Parnell Street.
