Visited the place with friends who had earlier enjoyed the food there. But this visit left us all disappointed. Vada was soaked in oil to the extent that we could squeeze out 2 tablespoonfuls from just half a vada. Sambhar tasted stale. Paratas and chaat we ordered were definitely not restaurant standards and not worth paying for. Service was okay except for a misunderstood order! Ambience is good. But no Indian flavours!

I am foodie and i know how indian food tastes & how certain street food is made, since am from mumbai which is known for street food. I was a regular in this restaurant being an indian just because there is no other restaurant who provides indian street food. So i go to deli o deli out of no other choice. Frankly this restaurant food is ok. its no where close to the street food of india. Recently i ordered a snack and the curry given to me was not fresh and i cud make that out. The restaurant manager was suspecting me , thinking that i am trying point wrong thing and want to eat something more. He asked the waitress cum till lady about me and she said am a regular so he gave an option to replace the food with something else. Else he wudnt have. Deli o Deli doesnt even have a good customer service , i wonder how they got such a rating of best street food. Believe me i come from a city which is known for street food and i cant go wrong. i have been eating out in the streets of mumbai for 30 years and i believe my tongue.

In my opinion this is the best tasting food in Ireland! If you really are a foodie this place is a must to try - all cooked from scratch, apparently just day-to-day recipes from the area where the owner grew up. Healthy too and don't be put off by the buffet counter - the daily dishes are the best to try and they change from day to day - definitely worth a visit.

The place and the service are not too appealing but if you like Indian food, that's definitely the place to go! It is genuine (veggie/vegan) food and I really enjoyed my lunch there.

Great Indian street food at fantastic prices. One almost feels as if they are stepping back in India. Love the crisp rava dosa.

Tasty, healthy, cheap and fast vegetarian food served in a buffet style. Great if you are looking for something quick to eat around the north side of the city.

Perfect Vegetarian food. The buffet plate had 5 choices and each curry was really nice and each was different. We also ordered off the menu. The nan was one of the nicest ever had. The fresh cheese was just right. The dosas looked great but I did not get to have one....will go back next week and try more off the menu. A nice clean place, no frills but fantastic Indian food (they use Veg Oil instead of clarified butter in most dishes so a bit healthier too).

I have been here twice and the food served here is authentic street food from India, first restaurant of such a kind in Dublin. The price is unbeatable. Me, my hubby and kiddo had almost 5 items from the menu and it cost only about 18 euros! In the times that I have visited there, I have tried a few items and everything reaches the same taste that we get in India. The only thing that neither me nor my hubby liked was the lassi, it was tasting very milky and not 'yoghurty' as it should have! There is also a value buffet but we prefer the items off the menu rather than the buffet. Will definitely be visiting here again when we are in town.
