I visited this café on a busy Saturday morning with two friends, we were lucky to get a seat straight away as the place was jammed with queues forming outside the door for a seat after we got in. The café itself is adorable, really minimalist décor with a homely feel with furniture that I could only describe as being granny chic (or preloved) that I really liked. My only complaint would be that we were sat at a table directly in front of the door which was a little awkward both for people getting by and it was too small to fit three people comfortably. The food itself was delicious I got the black pudding and chorizo hash with crispy kale and a poached egg, it was divine. The dishes all seemed to come in small bowls which made me think that it wouldn't be enough for me but I was stuffed and I really can't fault the food at all. Really good Irish ingredients done right. The coffee was great too, the have a small shop front beside the café serving coffee for a take out option all very well trained baristas. Service let them down a bit, staff were very attentive but perhaps overwhelmed by the amount of tables that were in. But very helpful as we asked to move to a bigger table when it became available so I do think the let down was purely a matter of being under-staffed as opposed to a service issue. Over all I really enjoyed my meal here and as someone that wouldn't normally be one to brunch I can definitely say that I'll be back.
