Had Beef Teriyaki which was very tasty but sushi by itself is a bit too pricy. Would like to go back for a quick lunch/dinner some time

Please don't think this is japanese food!!nI'm Japanese & I know this isn't our standard...nWe had beef curry & beef yakisiba & assorted sushinThey were eaqually bad...more like very cheap chinese food than japanese...( not saying chinese food is bad,by the way) rice on sushi was uneatable, topping was ok...miso soup was the only thing that was good enoughnOverall it was cheap but plenty of better japanese restaurants in dublin!!

Cheaply individually priced. Love the food! Prawn maki and avocado iso rolls delish. Nice little range. Pity miso doesn't come cheaper. Toilet not great but overall relaxed, friendly and yummy!

Not exactly sit in for a dinner, but perfect for a snack during the day, a quick lunch with a friend or a very light dinner before going out with some friends...excellent choice of sushi- try the tempura prawn rolls and a lovely aloe vera juice- perfection! Lovely friendly staff too!- well done guys- oh and very reasonably priced!

This is a take-away sushi with 2 tables and some seats by the window. Not suitable for an extended meal or a dinner date but the Sushi is always worth its money. There are options for nigiri or platters of different sizes. Love to pop in and pick up things before going to the cinema or on the way home.

As a regular customer here I was given a loyalty card some time ago - I forgot my card just before Christmas when I was purchasing some take-away Sushi and the staff went out of there way to stamp my receipt with the loyalty brand so that I could then put on my card the next time I was in with them - excellent customer service with gorgeous sushi - i'll continue to go here :)

I have very high expectations of Japanese restaurants as they are known for perfecting everything. Kokoro was a massive disappointment. I ordered a beef marinated in a sauce with sesame seeds. The meat and rice had been sitting in a stainless steel hot bath for hours. When I ate it, It tasted faintly of fish from splashes of other meals in the neighbouring containers. The cuts of the meat were the lowest possible quality, not lightly marbled but inordinate quantities of fat that the meat was difficult to chew. The complimentary miso soup was nothing special, but it was free after all. Overall this place is as low quality as an all-you-can-eat Chinese take away open at 4am on a Saturday night to feed the drunks on their way home. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The sushis were really good-but quite expensive I agree with other reviewers. The hot food looks ok but as it was 7pm I knew the food has been there for a few hours and didn't want to try it!

A friend of mine purchased a deal online some time ago and when I was walking through town one of the evenings a fortnight ago, I decided to pop in for a sushi takeaway. The place was very quiet and the staff weren't the most attentive however the food was gorgeous and very reasonably priced.

I had walked in this place a few times, but didn't appeal enough to drop Yamamori for it. However, then got one of those internet vouchers so decided to try it. The quality of the bento box was less than average, the sushi rolls are not good enough. The big surprise was with the Chirashi... First I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap it was. Soon enough I realised why. It's made out of all the leftover rolls who knows from when. You can easily tell as you will see all sorts of ingredients and toppings you see on the rolls, including the seaweed wrap rolled out. I was a bit worried about safety and hygiene standards considering raw fish must be fresh to be eaten, so threw it away after a few bites. Of all the places in the world I've eaten sushi including all the Dublin joints this by far is the worst. I will never be returning there.

I went there for lunch with my sister. Price were good for Lunch Bento Box - less than 10 euro. Everything would be fine but in my sister's rice was a hair. Girl who was serving wasn't even really sorry. I will not come back there for sure.

I go way out of my way on my lunch break around once a month for a sushi treat from Kokoro. The food is absolutely gorgeous, if a little pricey, but you get what you pay for with sushi. The tempura prawn rolls and the seared salmon nigiri in particular are mouth watering. They also have an assortment of bento boxes made up. Service is always quick even though queues can be out the door, and there are plenty of condiments like soy sauce etc for about 10c each. I have never eaten from the hot menu but there is plenty there to choose from, and a small seating area if you choose to eat in.

Called into Kokoro for the first time. Was really suprised. Great value for some very tasty bento boxes including a free juice. Would like to go back to try out their big sushi selection.
