Very disappointed with my food. Had five. People. Out for dinner. Sunday. And ordered. 2 steaks and came out like a lump of cardboard. Changed to a roast beef. And they looked. Like. A door mat dried up and taste less dont think id go back again. For. A four star. Restaurant. Very poor but. Nice staff

My wife & I booked into Villa Rose for Valentines Night & were surprised that it wasn't too busy. The staff were very friendly & quick with the service. I enjoyed my meal which was Topside of beef with fondant potato & grilled vegetables but my wife ordered the supreme of chicken but did not enjoy it. The desserts were very nice as I ordered Chocolate fondant with ice cream but my wife ordered the Passion fruit Cheesecake & again was disappointed.as there wasn't very much flavour to it.The restaurant is very well laid out & would have had more atmosphere if it had more diners & the staff were great so no complaints.

Great staff, really friendly and good food. We both got the burger which was very tasty. I liked that you had a few choices for sides, a bit different to always getting chips!

Top Class. The lady in the b&b we were stayin in recommended this. So Good. I got Tortellini and it was the nicest, tastiest I have EVER ate. The other Diner got Baked Cod with a rasher wrapped around it. The food was 10/10, the service was top class. They have a special system on the table that if you need anything just press the button and they be with you but they look after you so well here you dont even need to use this. Top class

A pretty disappointing meal for a 4 star hotel. The food was nicely presented but looked much better than it tasted. I had salmon as my main course & it was dried out and tasteless. We had ice-cream for dessert which was icy rather than creamy. It tasted like the cheap Tesco value ice-cream. The staff were pleasant and polite. There was no atmosphere in the place because it has a hotel dining room feel and when there's not many people in the room it really lacks any sort of charm. It's deffinately very over priced for the quality of restaurant.
