Really like this place for a quite drink as it is so cosy and relaxing. The lighting is perfect, not too bright like some pubs so you find it hard to feel comfortable. There is lots of comfy couches and chairs, two gas fires and the decor is modern. They also do nice bar food all day with some lovely homemade soups and toastie sandwiches to fill you up. However there is a real lack of main courses asides from burgers so if you would like a good choice I would say check the menu first. There is lots of free parking outside too which is handy and the staff are lovely.

Great food, great service. The rendezvous is a lovely pub for lunch and has a great atmosphere. I had the carvery lunch of roast beef with mash, red cabbage and carrots. All good, what you’d expect from a carvery. It was one of the better lunches I’ve had in a while, and came to €12.20. The roast beef was pink in the middle, which is perfect and the jus was very tasty. Deserts look yummy here, and as the place seems to have a regular supply of locals coming back for more, it seems like a great spot for hearty lunch!
