Innishannon on a warm day sitting outside in the garden with food and drink is one of the nicest locations in ireland over looking the river. Had a very tasty lunch here bar food and portions are great, they have added on a new bar as well behind though this doesnt share the nice fews. Only quibble is sometimes food is a bit pricey.

This is just one of the nicest places I have ever visited and it was raining when we arrived so I can only imagine how lovely it is on a sunny day…. The hotel is set in off the road overlooking the river…. It is like stepping back in time to another era… I could happily have stayed there all afternoon… We just stopped in for a quick bite to eat – I had the seafood chowder which was cooked to perfection and my other half had a mushroom brioche which was very tasty…. I would definitely go back here… the photos on their website do not do the hotel justice – it is just beautiful…..

Stopped off for a quick lunch, soup was excellent along with an excellent fresh chicken salad. Good lunch menu with strong value. Service was pleasant and quick. Good value for money with an excellent setting. Great for a family stop off.

Went for Sunday lunch here and I didnt expect the lovely gardens surrounding the house. It is very much a manor house inside and out, beautiful decor. The service was fantastic, very homely and welcoming and the food was lovely too. It is a little pricey but worth it as a treat. It would be lovely for a family gathering.
