A simple but cosy café in the heart of 'old' Cork city, with a fun theme and absolutely delicious food! Had breakfast there with 3 of my family members and we all loved it. The bistro, while simple, is clean and well laid out and they maximize on use of the space without compromising on the friendly service or the lovely food. Definitely a good place to go for students and families alike! Will be sure to re-visit the next time I'm in Cork again.

i have eaten here once, the food is relatively inexpensive for the portion sizes, can get a little overcrowded especially on a saturday morning but the all-day breakfast is a good choice and you won't leave hungry. No frills - good cheap food

Always a good choice! If you don't want to spend too much and be well fed, Tony's Bistro is the place to go! It is small, so not ideal for kids, but the food is homemade, and abundant. There is a good choice in the special menu, so you are spending little, but you will be so full afterward!

This Is a Bistro, A Family Suited Restaurant. It's Not a Romantic High Class Restaurant it's a Bistro! That Means Good Home Cooked Food at very reasonable Prices. There is No Massive Frills, Theater or Nonsence. They Have a good solid Menu, I think this had to be one Of the Most well Known Places in Cork For their Breakfasts also Just looking at their "Wall of Fame Menu" You can see the Huge choice and Variety in yor Breakfast.Their Tony's Famous Fry-Up Is Delicious, Hearty and Will set anyone up for a days work. Every Time I go In the place is Full of Happy Customers, Me included.

This is not a very nice restaurant! I went for a late lunch and it was much too crouded for my liking, too many tables where squeezed in!!! The service wasn't the best too, barely understood me and had too ask about three times for the vinegar with my chips. The dish itself (chicken in a basket) was dripping with fat and didn't taste much of chicken anymore... The prices are not too bad but I wouldn't come back here since the rest was so awful!!!
