The guys who work there are mostly Bangladeshis , the owner is Pakistani I think , all sound people. I've been getting take outs from spice route for years. Best quality Indian food in Cork by a long shot. Sure , not great inside in terms of decor but that's probably designed to keep people moving on.

I used to eat here before and had no issues as the food seemed ok. However, I spotted unhygienic behaviour recently. I saw members of staff and the owner cleaning an outside drain with a pipe wearing think gloves. The problem is, they went back inside behind the counter touching things - disgusting. I won't go there again!!!!

I am a regular at this place and for good reason. Best Kebabs EVER! For as little as 6 euro you can get a whole naan bread wrapped up with some of the tastiest meats with a mix of mayo, salad and their own herbs and spices, also you can go wild and try the volcano sauce which is just... WOWZA - I can't stress enough how great their kebabs are. Simply Amazing!

Have been in this place several times and usually go for a korma dish but decided to try a balti for a change OMG it was soooo hot I couldn't eat it at all just burned the mouth off me and ruined it for me. However thevegetarian korma dish I usually get is really nice with a good mix of veg and also they give you some popadoms and naan bread free too which is an added bonus. The place is a bit gringy with very bright lights so I wouldnt recommend staying there to eat just get a takeaway. The staff are all indian and there is all pictures on the wall of their family...strange I think but I suppose if it is a family run business each to their own!
