Went here a couple of weeks back and had a really terrible experience. Sat down to the table they gave us and there was dirty cutlery and broken glass under the table. The jug of water they gave us had a lump of clear sludge on the inside, and didn't seem to have been washed regularly. We ordered the pizza, which was worse than a frozen overcooked shop-bought pizza.. had really cheap toppings, cubes of chewy salty ham, and just didn't taste freshly made and the base was really hard. My friend ordered the chicken pesto.. it looked like roadside restaurant kid's pasta - it didn't look appetising at all and they didn't even try to make it look nice with a sprig of basil or anything. The chicken in her pasta was cheap and came in cubes, for the price of the dish you'd want freshly grilled breast of chicken and not some processed stuff out of a bag. It also came way too quickly which is always a bad sign, clearly hadn't been made to order and was probably just microwaved. We found a hair in the pizza, it had been cooked into the cheese and wasn't the same colour as our hair so we knew it wasn't ours. They took the pizza off the bill but it was all overpriced anyway and definitely wasn't worth the price. Unfortunately both myself and my partner who shared the pizza had severe food poisoning the next day, which wasn't great timing as we had 3 hours in the car back to the airport and then longer traveling back home. We also know it was from the food we had at scoozi's as it's the only food we had the same while we were in Cork. We had the brownie too (probably should've stopped at the pizza but we were with friends who had recommended the place), that wasn't heated through properly, it was warm in some parts and cold in others. I would've preferred them to have not reheated the brownie - either serve it freshly baked or as is. Really disappointed with this place and obviously won't be ever returning.

Have heard great reviews about this place for quiet a while now so couldn't wait to visit. Queued for ages, outside and inside. Finally got a table. Ordered the chicken and pasta marinara. The marinara was so bland, had to put four big scoops of pamasam cheese as well as salt and pepper to get some taste. The chicken was very dry also. Wine was watery that we got, not a hong quality merlot I would say. We were squashed into a corner in the restaurant, very small and uncomfortable. Complained when leaving and got the 2 mains for free to compensate. How there is constant queues here amazes me ??

I went to Scoozi on a Thursdsay afternoon and it was very busy. Had had to wait to be seated but the line did move quickly. Myself and my wife both ordered chicken dishes and there was no description on the menu of the New York chicken coming with a bun, which disappointed my wife. The food was ok, huge piece of chicken but way too much sauce, chips were ok, I was disappointed as it was very close to being fast food quality but a lot more expensive. The waitress was friendly but so rushed off her feet we didn't really feel attended to. Overall we thought it was average, nothing really major to complain about but nothing really to rave about either.

Scoozi is normally a great favourite of mine but on this occasion we had a few issues, a pizza totally undercooked, but they immediately took it back and replaced it, we were given the wrong description of the fish special so 3 of us ended up not liking it, it was very dry and not nice at all but again they looked after us and didn't charge for desserts and coffees and for that reason we will be back again, it was just a one off as we have never had that problem before but they did look after us very well!

What a great place to go for lunch when in Cork shopping for the day. The food is reasonably priced and the staff and very helpful. Very modern chic feel about the place. A definite favourite of mine.

Great food. Cant be beaten. The chicken wings are amazing and you can buy the sauce to bring home. The queues go quicker than you would expect. The staff are very friendly and I would recommend this place to everyone

Loud, busy atmosphere, waited a long time to be seated and a long time to be served. The food is average, simple food and very over priced. I got pizza and it was expensive for what it was, expected more for the review I read. Won't be returning
