This was the worst breakfast experience of my existence. I ordered the ciabatta breakfast. The bread was microwaved, the scrambled eggs were cardboard bland, the sausage was tasteless and the rasher was mediocre. The meal came with a salad on the side; who eats salad with breakfast, not to mention that was awful too. Waited for our waitress to return so as to complain, she never came back to us. Went off into some back room. All I got for my 8 euro was a cup of tea basically. My God it was truly remarkably dreadful.

Very nice place to come for lunch. It can get quite busy but the staff are always efficient and helpful. The all day breakfast menu is one of the best features of this restaurant - its so varied and has great vegetarian options. The coffee however isn't that great.

nice atmosphere and staff. got the full irish breakfast. very filling and tasty! i like the quirky things they have written on the plates, sugar sachets, etc. the coffee was brought out way before the meal which was annoying because it was cold by the time the food arrived.

Looking for a place to eat something light and sit down for a coffee, I was satisfied with the crostini I ordered. Service was almost ignoring us leaving us unsure of whether to go order at the counter or wait to have t taken.Same situation with paying.

I dropped into Puccinos on the strength of how many people were sitting inside and out, figuring so many people couldn't be wrong. Maybe our food was the exception but apparently they can. I ordered a feta and roasted pepper foccaccia sandwich. It arrived piping hot, inedibly so for about ten minutes. The amount of filling was a little stingy and the bread resembled a burger bun. In fact it seemed exactly like a burger, just minus the actual burger. My partner's goats cheese and aubergine baked potato sounded like a winner but also fell flat. Service was fine enough but I wouldn't be rushing back anytime soon.

I wish we'd kept walking past this place on Sunday afternoon. We were sent upstairs and had to sit at a dirty table for about 5 minutes, so unappetising to stare at the remains of someones fried egg and bacon fat before you order. This turned me off the planned fry up so went for a goats cheese salad instead. The goats cheese itself was nice but the rest was awful. The lettuce was brown and slimy, when you're paying €11 for a salad that consists of goats cheese, some bread and salad leaves the least you can expect is that they be fresh. Rocket was advertised on the menu but none appeared. I mentioned this to the waitress but heard nothing back. To be fair the waitresses were all about 16 and clearly just weekend jobbers. Pleasant though. Eggs benedict were said to be good, belgian waffle was barely visible on the plate it was so miniscule. Worst place I've eaten in months.

Breakfast the morning after the night before with friends was an altogether pleasant and chilled experience. We were seated upstairs and the atmosphere is so relaxed, just what you need on a rainy Sunday morning. I ordered the American breakfast which came with granary toast and tea/coffee. It was tasty and hit the spot, but by no means was it haute cuisine. Having said that, it was a fry up. I wish they didnt deep fry the sausages though. Too greasy for my liking. I prefer them grilled or pan fried. The staff, however are superbly trained and very friendly and efficient, a rare commodity these days. Food was ok, love the atmosphere and Im a huge faan of the staff. €9.50 is what I paid and I feel I got reasonable value for my money.

Very little for the vegetarian here... but if you are looking for a nice Irish breakfast and a steaming cappuccino... look no further! The location is quite good too, you can take a book with you and enjoy your food and just take a look at all the different shapes and sizes and colors of the people passing by... Very inspiring, especially on those lazy Saturday mornings!

The best place in cork for a full irish breakfast! Great cure for a hangover! Its €9.50 but worth every cent, and the bags of sugar on the tables are quite cool!
