Purchased BBQ spare ribs as a starter, chicken curry and fried rice, a portion of chips and prawn crackers for collection! On the phone they never told me the price and it came to €30.50. I queried the price and they said all large sizes that's why. I told them I didn't order large and they said its only 1 size-what a joke of a price! Food was lukewarm and the ribs/chips were dry. Wasn't value for money and the food was poor quality! I wouldn't eat here again and wouldn't rate the place!

went in on easter sunday with my wife, the place was empty and very cold, food was soggy, they put my wine into a sherry glass, service was appalling, wouldnt recommend it and will never go back.

Absolutely shocking customer service for a second time once in the restraunt for undercooked food and today got a order for collection and they left I teams out rung back and spoke to Michael the owner and the attitude was appalling telling me I received the items and chef had cooked them not once have I ever been treated with such an attitude and he said he would phone back and never did well that's my custom gone it does not take much to be nice especially when u need customers as any time u went in recently the place was dead so from now on I will be going to tung sing on patrick street where they appreciate there customers and go over and above to make sure they are catered for and fantastic prices I would rather go somewhere that the staff appreciate there customers instead of just taking money off a customer without giving the products

Paid a visit here on 05/10/13 after 10 years since our last visit. The decor has not changed since then, the waiter had great difficulty with the English language. Although there was only 20 or so people in the restaurant at the time, there was 5 waiting staff and none of them could manage to supply cutlery between courses we had to remove it from an adjoining table. We were supplied with a wine list and then it was taken away without even been asked if we wanted any or not ! On the plus side the food was very good but pricey. Wont be going back again the next time I visit Cork.

We go here every month, eat in or take out. My fav restaurant. Amazing food. Huge portion, main course is really meant for two. Great value. I've tried all the dishes now over the years. Favs are BBQ spare ribs (nicest gravy sauce), hot & sour soup, Meat Sung and Steak (huge one on a hot plate). I've recongmend this place to many of my friends and they all love it. The decor is old fashion but yet again this restaurant has been opened over 20 years, the food will set the mood for ya.

I have been going here for years and also get take away from here. It has by far the best curry around. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is good. I would tell anyone looking for good chinese food to come here, the food really is great.

going there since i was a child and its always nice. staff a very friendly and menu is like any their chinise restaurant in Ireland. potions are large considering the price and value for money I believe. the atmosphere is a bit dated, the chairs comfy but been there since i can remember with chinise pop music playing in the backround. however saying this it would not be the pearl river if they changed the way the restaurant looks. go there if you want a good chinise which is good value and nice pleasant service.

Went with some friends - the service for the lot of us was great, but I can't say the food was very good. Found some of it very dry, and a bit cold, and it wasn't just me who thought that. There are a few other Chinese restaurants in the location that are a bit better. Not great value for money

The Portions are massive, i had a curry that literally came out in a barell. While my main was very good, my friends complained about there's being horrible. My starter was like crunching on charcoal. It even seemed to appear before i'd even finished telling the waitress my order. I would not go back.
